Wyandotte County deputy charged with sexual abuse of child
A Wyandotte County Sheriff's Deputy has been charged with the sexual abuse of a child.Michael Mastel was charged Tuesday with rape, aggravated criminal sodomy and three counts of sexual exploitation of a child who was under 14 years old, according to court records.The district attorney said the charges stem from an investigation that began in October, and that Mastel allegedly knew the victim.Mastel has worked for the Sheriff's Office since 2010.
