Deadly Kansas City Violence Escalates 2019

The murder count is at a 5-year-high and the weather still isn't that great. Two reports that don't bode well for the future:

Kansas City homicide rate the highest in recent memory

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A few months into 2019, there have been more homicides reported in Kansas City, Missouri, than during the same period in at least the last nine years. The rash of crime has left anti-violence groups in the city frustrated.


Kansas City Gunfire Tonight

1 critically hurt in shooting Thursday night in east KC

One person was critically hurt Thursday night in a shooting on Kansas City's east side. Police officers were called at 8:39 p.m. to the 3600 block of East 29th Street on the reported shooting.One victim was found and taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.No arrests have been made.

  6. Here's a different angle. Geezer shit eating millennial kid seyz his gen loves the risk of physical violence or death. That you're a puzzy if you avoid certain diverse areas of town. If he's right, going for the number one spot in urban violence could really add to the 25 mil tourists a year. I can see plane loads of them coming in to MCI, taking the KCATA buses to stroll down the shiny new Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. The amount of money they'll spend at the pawn shops, check cashing, and liquor stores will be fantastic for the local economy.
