Complaints against this form of local crowd control has always garnered criticism from Kansas City leftist activists. Now it looks like they might get their way . . . Take a look as even this news write-up agrees the technique is "intimidating" for folks at the ground level. Checkit:
KCPD considers shutting down its Mounted Patrol Division
The Kansas City Police Department is considering shutting down its Mounted Patrol Division and shifting those officers to patrolling the streets. The Mounted Patrol's 10 horses look intimidating.
It's also very good outreach for the department. Young people and animal lovers really like seeing the animals out in public.
ReplyDeleteKeep the horses. Send the activists away.
ReplyDeleteGranger, for the win!
DeleteWhy would the Kansas City Police department give in two individuals who are mentally ill and do not have a concept reality. The police department has enough problems with one of the highest crime rates in the country. To give in people who never really held a real job and probably live in their mama's basement.
ReplyDeleteCould we try a water cannon?
ReplyDelete"... the technique is "intimidating" for folks at the ground level."
ReplyDeleteUnless you're taller than the horse, in which case, it's the horse & rider who are intimidated.
To use horses in this way is animal cruelty.
Horses don't like to be crowded.
Add more horses , add a lot more mean ass police dogs to protect and serve normal human beings !!!!¡¡!!
ReplyDelete^^^^ But who will serve you 11:46? You gutless troll?
ReplyDeleteBut Byron you are blind. You can't even see the horse. Lying thief.
ReplyDeleteThe horses are great for KCPD. We should keep them to help keep our streets safe. Also need to enlist those who are doing community service as punishment to help pick up their droppings.
ReplyDeleteIf only the activists/protesters obeyed the laws then maybe we wouldn’t need the horses......
ReplyDeleteClearly a concept bLIEron doesn’t understand.
^^Hi, Petersucker.
ReplyDeleteAdd an elephant patrol.
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe a couple giraffes.
KCMO "activists" are such a boring and clueless joke.
And completely irrelevant as to how issues are actually resolved.
Hint: When you march and protest about something, anything really, every single day you simply become background noise and nobody notices you except each other.
Not only are the horses taller than the protestors.
They're actually smarter.
Remember when the screeching SJW punched a horse?
ReplyDeleteWe need more horses
Mongo did that too!
DeleteMounted officers is mind of silly and expensive, true, but admittedly horseback is the smoothest way to travel on KC potholes.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Radish
Sounds like the rich folks that paid to start the mounted police expect tax payers to keep the folly going.
ReplyDeleteComplete abuse of animals
