TKC Trending: Many Kansas City Metro Po-Po Rob Banks After Career Frustration

Locals who follow the long tail of local crime stories have seen an uptick in this kind of crime over the years . . . Okay, it's not "trending" but it happens more often than most would think . . . Over the past few years we've noticed a few law men switching sides and taking down local banks. The Northland provides the most ample playground for this switcheroo given that police know it's largely unprotected. Today's proof of concept:

Ex-Lee's Summit officer pleads guilty to armed bank robbery

A former Lee's Summit police officer who led officers on a 100-mph pursuit before his arrest pleaded guilty to armed bank robbery.
