Congressman Cleaver Releases Statement on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Report
(Washington, D.C. ) – Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, II released the following statement regarding the recent release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report.
“Now that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report has been submitted, I would like to personally thank Mr. Mueller – and his team - for their unwavering commitment and service to completing this nearly two-year investigation. During the course of the investigation, his integrity was questioned, his reputation was shamefully smeared, and he and his team were falsely accused of conspiracy. Despite it all, Mr. Mueller displayed impeccable character while conducting an unbiased probe. He and his team should be commended for their hard work.
Special Counsel Mueller’s team handed down 34 individual public indictments and 3 company indictments, rendered seven guilty pleas and obtained one conviction. The Special Counsel determined that there were two main Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 election; disinformation campaigns on social media, and Russian government actors’ hacking the emails of members of the Clinton campaign and Democratic Party organizations.
Now that it has concluded, it is imperative that the full report and findings be released to the public and the underlying evidence be made available to the relevant Congressional Committees. The House overwhelming passed H. Con. Res. 24 by a vote of 420-0, to make the full report and its findings public. Congress must exercise its constitutional mandate as a co-equal branch of government to examine the full report – and underlying evidence gathered by the Department of Justice – so that;
1) The American people get answers
2) Congress ensures that steps are taken to protect our election systems from future foreign interference
3) A final Congressional determination can be made regarding the report’s findings and recommendations
The public is entitled to the Mueller Report, not the Attorney General’s summary of it. I will continue to push for its public release.”

So basically, Congressman Cleaver & The President agree. Leave it the the GOP to screw this up and turn a victory into a defeat.
ReplyDeleteCleaver speaking or writing about pretty much anything is like a tree falling in a forest with nobody there.
ReplyDeleteIs there any sound?
How many years has he been in DC?
Does anyone in his own party actually even recognize him yet?
Almost as much a waste of a Congressional seat as Sharice!
^^^ Or that comment. The Republicans should release the report and stop being COWARDS!.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the name Seth Rich appears in the report ?
ReplyDeleteWashington DC is Israels' brothel and Trump is their most enthusiastic whore.
ReplyDelete8:01 Your're more like Ilhan Omar. BTW You spelled Queen wrong.
ReplyDeleteThose who curse Israel will be cursed, those who bless Israel will be blessed.
@8:18 "Queef" is slang that means ... well, look it up. Old Testament quotes are irrelevant to the Talmudic Judaism that is a cancer to the world and resulted in the Jewish people being banished from 109 different countries in 1000 years. BTW, did you notice most of our Senators and Representatives taking a collective dump on Omar for having the audacity to point out the Israeli Lobbys' absolute control of our foreign policy ? Have you noticed how our famously dysfunctional Senators and Representatives all "magically" agree on any legislation that benefits Israel ? Not everyone is spoon-fed "information" from their TV (Talmudvision).
ReplyDeleteThat is powerful stuff! Will you be joining Alex Jones at a pizza stand yelling in defense of the Russian president?
DeleteThe President was blocked for two yearseparate over this garbage. The Democrats need to answer for their own obstruction.
ReplyDeleteI would like the full investigative report of the cleaves failure to payoff his car wash and why he continues to support and spend several hundred million dollars on the failed jazz district, until this information comes out he needs to stfu.

ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't Cleaver call for investigations into Hillary, Comey, FBI, Clapper and more!
ReplyDeleteThe Congressman is right, The President isn't afraid. Seems to me like a tempest in a teapot. What's worse is the crap water and such in KCMO. That's the real coverup.
ReplyDelete9:41 YOU are correct. The investigation is in the process. According to Judicial Watch. Starting with the Obama administration.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing that voters are so forgiving but it depends if it's their guy or not.
ReplyDeleteThis guy is a minister con who turned politician. Clever supported the 18th and Vine con which diverted City funds to an empty hole which has zero ROI for the City.
ReplyDeleteIllusion and delusion but no collusion. Suck it Liberals.
ReplyDeleteHe should push for public access to the machinations behind the Paseo name change.
ReplyDeleteIf only there were statutes and regulations which governed the process the process the AG is to follow with respect to the report of the special counsel.
