TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY WATER ASKS CUSTOMERS TO CUT BACK!!!

The latest news from our embattled water dept amid a distasteful weekend for local drinkers from the tap . . .

Advisory: Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water is asking customers to conserve water to help with ongoing treatment challenges

(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water is asking customers to conserve water to help with ongoing treatment challenges created by current characteristics of the Missouri River. Reducing the amount of water will lessen the impact on the treatment plant and help KC Water meet treatment needs.

Although KC Water has no confirmed biologic or virus contamination, the high turbidity alert that was issued late Friday remains in effect. Customers may continue to notice changes in the taste and color of their tap water that began last week.

KC Water continues to conduct additional tests in an effort to closely monitor the treatment processes. KC Water will continue to make treatment adjustments in response to changing river conditions.

We appreciate the support of our customers during this time and we apologize for the inconvenience and concern this might be causing.

So the options are keep feeding people liquid shit or turn the water supply off until the river recedes to summer levels or they can figure out what in TF they are doing?

What you mean conserve water. Anyone with any functioning brain cells suspects your spin means DON'T DRINK IT.

If we're cutting back then we'll have lower water bills? Of course not.

Well I'm going to use a lot of water today, I'm doing laundry and will make sure I use as much water as possible. Kansas City voted for that expensive water treatment, so as far as I'm concerned, and what Sly's bulk mail said I'm using more than the norm today! But won't drink a bit of it!

I cut back long ago due to the outrageous cost.

Drink all you want.

Maybe you'll all get sick and die and we'll be better off for it.

Because you guys don't have the slightest clue about water treatment during high water periods.

Same with municipal finance.

Or public works projects.

Or damn near fucking anything.

What water are they using to make the local BEER.

Hopefully the water department has the city hall minions performing an hourly taste test of the contaminated water so the water department will know when it is safe for the citizens to drink KCMO water.

So mad!

It's almost like you know that the current administration is known nationwide as the gang that couldn't shoot straight.

Everyone else does! :)

Hey Hyper,
No place to comment on your river photos, but they’re great. I’ve seen some of your other photos too. You should publish a book.
