SPOKES CAFE VS. JIMMY JOHN'S POSTSCRIPT: KANSAS CITY 'PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY' SIGN ORDINANCE IS A JOKE!!!

Quick followup and today's realization that most "news" is nothing more than a propaganda that is increasingly tuned out by locals who would rather just message back and forth with their friends.

Follow-up on today's kerfuffle betwixt Jimmy John's Vs. Spokes Cafe . . . The word from City Hall as the newspaper wrongly reports that spray chalk is illegal: 

“Guerrilla marketing is unlawful in the public right-of-way. Jimmy John’s is well aware that it is unacceptable. We have been in touch with Jimmy John’s hoping they removed it,” Maggie Green, spokeswoman for the city Public Works Department, said. “We’re not trying to be the bad guys, but we have to hold everyone to the standards that we put forth through city ordinance. We appreciate their cooperation.”

The downtown Kansas City sandwich debate is already stale and The Star's follow-up is lame . . . But here's a better angle.

The bureaucrat is actually talking about the KCMO sign ordinance that everyone breaks . . . And this begs the question . . .

WILL KANSAS CITY CRACK DOWN ON SO MANY CANDIDATE SIGNS CLOGGING THE PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY GIVEN THAT THEY RARELY ENFORCE THE RULES?!?!?

Most streets are already starting to look messy but if City Hall is now playing sign police, they're clearly doing a horrible job.
