Child struck, killed by gas company truck in downtown KC

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A 3-year-old boy was struck and killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. According to the Kansas City Police Department, the child was exiting a store with his father shortly before 1:30 p.m. near 11th Street and Grand Boulevard.

Uh oh. If this a kiddie of a high profile or political family, that truck driver and Gas company best beware the media frenzies and especially, the LAWSUIT(S)!!!

Tragic for sure, but it sounds like it was one of those freak accidents that the truck driver couldn’t avoid. Sad all the way around.

As a firefighter the loss of a child was what gave me my worst nightmares.

I'll bet the dad was on his phone. No cell phone use while walking with a child.
