Salaries for the NBA, NFL, and MLB are ridiculous.

hundreds of millions for holding a ball? getting a melon into the hoop, or slugging one far

^^So? You mad bro? That's capitalism. You're paid at what the market deems you're worthy. Don't like it? Move to Venezuela!

"Tyreek Hill is worth $100 million Chiefs deal, says expert"

Worth it to whom? Hopefully this is not our tax dollars at work.

^^^Yea shitbird, it's your tax dollars. Are you old or just a retard?

Pretty sad state of affairs if a city with crumbling infrastructure and unaccredited schools is subsidizing a pro athlete’s multi-million dollar salary.

^^^except and this is key here retard: THEY AREN'T!!!!!!! THEY ARE PAID BY THE NFL!!!!!!! God, why are old people so fucking dumb.

Anonymous said...

^^^^^^^ @1:35 they aren't its just in your little sick mind that you think you can see people on line and know their age. NFL is not worth it neither is someone with a name like tyreek who runs around fondling his balls.

^^Umm...judging from your poorly worded response...you're pretty fucking dumb.

Taxpayers are helping fund almost all professional athletes salaries. Without stadium subsidies ownership would reduce costs and athletes free agency would be first in line.

^^Wrong wrong wrong. Television revenue is the number one drive of athlete salaries. What's the average IQ on this site anyway? Judging from your idiotic responses, I'd say sub 50.

OK, genius boy. Please explain, coherently if possible, why Tyreek Hill is worth $100 mil to someone who doesn't give a fuck about football? And p[lease remember you are explaining this to a bunch of old, retarded people who are also wondering if they'll be able to get to and from work every day without losing a tire to a pothole.

^^^I'm not genuius boy (well I am, blush blush, but not the one you mean) Tyreek Hill is worth 100 million dollars because he and some NFL team will agree to that pay/play contract package. Whether or not you give a fuck, or several fucks, about footbal is not relevant to the question.

^^^^But why should taxpayers pay? I have no problem with someone paying and someone earning $100 mil, but with tax dollars? I guess I'm too old and retarded to comprehend that. Maybe if I had an IQ of 51 I could understand, but I have to make do with what I've got.

"NFL Network analyst Bucky Brooks" Bucky Brooks! You gotta be kiddin.

The same question could be asked about mayor Bowtie. He doesn't do shit for the avg resident, yet we pay his salary and the money he steals. No difference.

4:26, the headline is misleading, whether intentionally or not who knows. It says "Kansas City Taxpayers Subsidize EPIC Chiefs Salaries." IT DOES NOT SAY that the salaries are paid for out of public tax money. It only says that taxpayers subsidize the salaries, which Kansas City taxpayers certainly do, just by buying tickets, eating hot dogs, paying parking fees etc.

Another interpretation of the ambiguous headline might be that if Kansas City tax money is used in ways that keep the Chiefs here (stadium upkeep maybe), then that is money that the Chiefs don't have to pay out of their own pocket and can use the savings to pay for, i.a., salaries.

I've heard of Gotcha journalism. TKC practices Huh? journalism.

Oh well, he's gonna be spreading 'round the bulk of those NFL big bucks.

Yo, he's gotta give up a bunch to the tax man. That sucks.

He'll blow much of it on bling, cars, clothes, partying and babymamas.

Cashflows to lawyers, support orders, bail, and the usual dramas.

If he fails to play smart with his NFL gold,

Dude's gonna be broke long before he grows old.

Seriously

Just another nappy headed, buck toothed flunky that won the ghetto lottery by becoming a pro (insert here either athlete or rapper). It’s also the name of Geezer Hater’s biggest dildo.
