Mayor Sly KCMO Pre-K Sales Tax Fact Check

A few more inconvenient criticism about a plan that has garnered nearly universal opposition because of its sketchy and vague terms. Take a look:

As Kansas City considers expanding pre-K on the April 2nd ballot, two things about the research should be made clear: pre-K programs often do not have the long-term results supporters claim they do, and the programs that do show results cannot be scaled up for an entire city.

Most graduates of the KCPS are illiterate. They need pre-k to get a start on their illiteracy.
