St. Charles Parish website Hundreds are protesting a Prairie Village Catholic school for denying the enrollment of a same-sex couple's child. Signed by nearly 1,000 people, a petition on behalf of the members of St. Ann Catholic School urges leaders of the church to allow the student's admission.

  5. There are two opposing petitions out at the present time. The first one has been out since March 1st, 15 days, a little over 1000 signers in favor of the same gender couple versus the school. The second one out since March 13th, two days, and it has over 7500 signers in favor of the church schools position. So about seven times more signatures against the position of just let the gay kid in the Catholic school. I think that speaks for itself as this being a manufactured problem.
    As for the just over 1000 Catholics, or those claiming to be former students at St Ann's and opposing the schools decision I think you need to rethink your catholic faith and it you don't support it leave the church immediately. Good riddance.
