  1. Here's why Stroud's doesn't have the reputation they used to. Since Donegan sold the majority (if not all of his stake)

    KC Hoops has made the size of the chicken pieces smaller. Just look at the pieces they serve now versus what Mrs. Stroud and Donegan & Hogan served. It's an obvious change.

    I know many that don't eat there as often as they used to because of the higher prices and smaller pieces of chicken.

    And to be objective; they still draw a good crowd but I have no doubt they would do better if they went back to serving the chicken we all remember!!
