Flooding prompts EPA to review KC super fund site

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City, Missouri Superfund site is being closely watched by the Environmental Protection Agency after this month's floods. The agency said Tuesday it is monitoring the Conservation Chemical Corporation site , which is just east of KCP&L's Hawthorne Generating Station along the Missouri River.
