That prog BS on campus is what stopped me from driving up to the games (well, actually the coach encouraging and supporting the players protesting). Haven't been to a game in three seasons The SEC move was stupid too, from a fan perspective, but the athletic dept. made the move for supposed more TV and profit share for their coffers, not fan attendance.

DeleteI remember the guv and athletic director claiming that going to the SEC was going to improve the University. They have had one maybe two good seasons and would have had those in the Big 12. Otherwise they have sucked like always and the school hasn't improved either. Plus it ended the border rivalry with KU, that is the biggest loss. It was solely a money grab and that seems to be over too.

False. The progressivism on most campuses has nothing to do with education, and actually strives to stamp out anything that looks like independent thought or true critical thinking.
Delete@3:51, critical thinking is completely contrary to prog-thought. They only know what they are told to believe. Why do progs tend towards education? Because that was one of the driving forces of Marx and the commie manifesto, get to the children in the public education system. You're clearly a product of that system and have slurped the prog-kkkoolaid from the chalice of the prog. You'll find that in the hard sciences, where critical thinking is crucial, most students are apolitical or generally conservative. Your prog students can be found in the humanities, generally courses not requiring critical thought but rote memorization, which is what the progs aim for.
