FAKE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY STAR COMMISSIONS POLL TOUTING CANDIDATE THEY'RE ENDORSING!!!

This "news" article is fantasy and one more time for the cheap seats . . .

THIS FAKE POLL IS NOT "DATA-DRIVEN" RESEARCH, IT'S PROPAGANDA FROM KANSAS CITY'S FADING DAILY NEWSPAPER!!!

Notice how it imagines an all-white election and puts the leading 3rd District contender who is also a top fundraiser last in the race. Also, it totally discounts the union vote for the Southland candidate.

When people talk about how losing the newspaper would be a tragedy . . . They're talking about something that's already happened because it's this isn't the precious "JOURNALISM" touted by worn out retired hacks . . . It's just campaign material for Council Lady Jolie Justus.

You decide . . .

Poll: Justus leads KC mayor's race, many voters undecided | The Kansas City Star

The race to be Kansas City's next mayor is still wide open. According to an independent poll commissioned by The Star, Councilwoman Jolie Justus is in the lead, but nearly half of voters are still undecided.

    Good enough for me if the Star says so.

  4. The dying Kansas City Star, having given up even the pretense of civic responsibility, wants you to vote for the same clowns that have been proudly fucking up the city for years.

  5. ^^^ only because our tax money is keeping them in business, sLIE needs his lies to be told and the red star prints whatever he wants.

  8. Irony. Candidates who are only a couple of points ahead of a guy that doesn't live here. Might want to examine their chances.

  9. Take notice that the Star didn't show the 54% who favored Clay Chastain.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Since only 8% of voters are projected to vote, most of those polled won't even bother to show up.

  11. I would rather vote for an outsider like Miller than the same old career politicians like Justus, Lucas etc.

  12. Lucas doesn’t have a chance, he doesn’t live here and now he’s mooselimb, people aren’t gonna vote for a guy like that...... evar

  18. Direct quote from the Survey USA poll linked in the article:

    * 15% --- Jolie Justus
    * 10% --- Alissia Canady
    * 10% --- Steve Miller
    * 10% --- Jermaine Reed

    VERSUS

    Direct quote from the Star article by Allison Kite:

    The survey...shows Councilwoman Jolie Justus on top with 13 percent. She is the only candidate to draw double digits.
    In line behind her, construction attorney Steve Miller, Councilwoman Alissia Canady and Councilman Jermaine Reed have 9, 8, and 7 percent of poll respondents, respectively.

    Can you say BAD DATA and BAD REPORTING?

  19. Jolie Justus is going to win folks. The culture of corruption run too deep in this town. And she'll just be yet another in a long line of puppets for corporations and private developers used to rubber stamp any and every handout that her corporate and private development masters ask for.

  20. The pork gobblers don't want Clay to sort out the boondoggles. If you want more debacles like the Rock Island fiasco, the missing Green Zone, the Airport travesty, the Smart City debacle just rubber stamp the fronts for the usual suspects gaming this city.

    If you want tight government with fresh priorities, then Clay just might be the antidote to more Sly. If the developers and law firms are for it, then it is pretty much a screw to the actual citizens.

    How folks even sweep these serial debacles under the rug, well that is on you Star. KC, we are overbuilt downtown, the momentum they are describing is really just Ponzi scheme wishful thinking in terms of making lives better for the average citizen.

  21. If it's any indication of the money backing those running, I have received my 8th brochure from Justus........who is bankrolling her????
