TKC MUST SEE!!! CITY SUFFERS EPIC DISAPPROVAL AS KANSAS CITY RESIDENTS DECRY SNOW & ICE REMOVAL FAIL!!!

This one speaks for itself, here's a look at local residents meeting 12th & Oak happy news with EPIC frustration at the state of local streets . . .

KCMO - Snow update: Crews will work through the day plowing loosened ice and salting as necessary . . . Snow update: Crews will work on arterial streets overnight and into Sunday morning.

The best reactions . . .

Concern for the rugrats . . .

"Uh, where? Roads look the same as they did on Friday. Schools are back in session tomorrow!"

Nowhere to run . . .

"Meanwhile, sidewalks will be neglected as usual."

Independent KCMO thinker . . .

"Can KCMO just give me some salt and I'll take care of my street by myself since it hasn't been touched... I know the excuse...KC has miles and miles and miles of streets.. still no excuse.. I pay taxes for non service."

Lamenting The Kansas City Shuffle . . .

"My street is absolutely awful, and keeps getting worse as things keep partially unthawing and re-freezing"

Street life reality check . . .

"West Plaza hilly side street that was ignored since WEDNESDAY is solid ice. People going 5 mph are sliding out and crashing, c’mon @KCMO. Very disappointing, not to mention trash never picked up as trucks wouldn’t brave it"

Fact check . . .

THE SOCIAL MEDIA REACTIONS HAVE BEEN BRUTAL AS KCMO SUFFERS UNIVERSAL REBUKE FOR STREET SNOW & ICE REMOVAL FAIL!!!

  1. I thought the epic disapproval was about how the city council allows the city manager to knit such corrupt projects together like the KCI terminal? The ice and snow will melt, but the airlines are not paying for everything and taxpayers will be responsible for remaing $2 BILLION.

  2. As usual, JoCo street crews deserve a shout out for doing a great job getting streets cleared.

  3. Nothing was done about the icy streets but at least they completed the vital work of getting the Paseo name change passed (sarcasm).

  4. The usual fear factor of weather casters have helped local hardware stores make a mint because there isnt a bag of ice melt to be found in this city.

  5. Did you really think this city is going to spend any money clearing the streets? Any money saved will go to MLK street name change, 18th and vine, maybe even some new bushes for Sly to duck into when he needs to. The only way you're going to get your street cleaned is if you have an HOA in your neighborhood that does that sort of thing.

  6. slie don’t give a shit about us commoners, his only concerns are downtown and an airport that we won’t need because we’ll all be dead in 12yrs according to occasionally uses her cortex

  7. Speaking of sLIE, I heard recently why he hates the popo, he got mad when they kept busting his son for shooting at people. Imagine that, he got mad when his punk ass kid should’ve went to jail and instead they told him to leave town.

  8. Fuck all of you, you have a street car now use it.

  9. But but but it’s only downtown that has it along with the cleanest streets in the metropolitan area

  10. Everyone gripes about the snow, then it eventually melts and is forgotten.

  11. Brushy McBrushface kept the magic toot toot tracks clean!

    It's about priorities! The Tourists!

  12. Electrolytes! It's got what icy streets love!

  13. You can get 40% off a truck rental Monday only at your Kansas City area U-haul! Just use the code BITCHMOANWHINE and we'll see you tomorrow!

That way you can pack up and get the fuck out.

  14. Freudian Slip Go4KC says:

You people are always complaining. The streets are icy. Big deal. It's supposed to be above freezing this week. The ice will melt. And so a bunch of you were without water much of the day. Look on the bright side. It happened on a Sunday. Now that the water is back on, you can get cleaned up for work tomorrow if you can make it to a street that's been treated.

It's no secret that our priorities are the streetcar, the new less convenient airport, and keeping downtown clean and vital for our creatives that we are willing to spend so much on to keep them happy. If you losers haven't figured it out yet, we don't give a shit about you, so you might as well just STFU and pay your taxes so we can do more of the same.

After all, when it comes time to elect a new mayor and council in April, the snow will be gone and you will have forgotten this winter as you vote for more of the same.

  15. Indeed, why don't you all just move somewhere else? Some utopia where whiny complaints immediately get acted on without anyone offering any solutions whatsoever, where your street gets plowed seconds after a snowstorm ends, there are no negroes )and therefore no crime), and airports and other infrastructure are built for free!!! We all know where that is, right? Indeed, let's all go at once!!! See you there!!!

    1. You intended irony, clumsily, but actually the citizens have a right, even a duty to complain and call attention to issues when (as in this case) city officials are at the same time both incompetent and corrupt.

    2. Ok then 7:50, run for office and win and clean house!!! I'm sure you're eminently qualified and will win easily!!!

But you won't. Easier to sit on your fat ass and whine.

    3. Ha! Not in the least bit fat. And I just may do that. Of course the disinterred remains of Boss Tom would do a better job than the current team of sold out clowns. :)

  16. ^^^^^And the real gopher checks in.

    ReplyDelete
  17. But you don't have an answer, 7:06, just a retarded name-calling retort. Oh, a gopher! Well I am indeed shamed.

IF YOU HATE IT SO MUCH WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?

    Answer THAT question.

    1. Because in civilized society it's acceptable to express your opinion. Was that so hard?

Now go shine Mayor Bullhorn's shoes, slave.

  18. Back in the old days we put the niggers to work clearing the streets with cheese knives and toothpicks.

  19. ^^^^^I bought here when we had a city that considered all the neighborhoods part of the city. That would mean I bought here pre-Kay, before city government decided to let global warming take care of the streets. Before water rates more than quadrupled. So, would you like to buy my house, gopher? I'm only a few blocks from JOCO, so I could leave KC without moving far. C'mon. Put your money where your mouth is.

    ReplyDelete
  20. ^^^Good for you. Now move or shut your trap. Relentless bitching about the city is a loser’s lament. Get out pushy-bitch!

    ReplyDelete
  21. The City Council approves $10 million for the 18th and Vine district while the City could use these funds for basic maintenance. The folks who run the city are not thinkers and are totally incompetent. Tragic.

Its time for Tony to get down on all fours and beg for the return of Mark Funkhouser... also known as Mayor Smartwithnothinghouser.

  23. We want the Funk! We want the Funk! And we want Tony to have something interesting to write about!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Somehow, I expected Tony to dig up a picture of the Obese Bowtie, Sly James, out shoveling the streets! Preferably in front of Tony’s Mothers house :) Sad to see the Bowtie letting us down and making us yearn for the return of the Funk!

On Fox4's 10pm quick story of the 2 water main breaks, a Water Services employee said that those busted mains are over 100 years old, and that there are about 600 miles of mains that old.

Well, alrighty then. TooT! TooT! City of fountains!

  26. There's the door.

I don't understand why you whiners just pack up and move someplace idyllic, unless you get off on complaining.
