The fading middle-class in lower Johnson County object to more services for the growing number of homeless in their part of town. Sadly, the need, private property rights and their lack of political pull in wanting to crackdown on po'folk threaten to rebuke this pecking order fight. Neighbors voice concerns about Olathe homeless shelter
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - There is a battle brewing over a proposed homeless shelter on West Park Street in Olathe. Nowhere was the tension more evident than at a neighborhood meeting Monday night. It was hosted by Project 1020, the non profit trying to open the cold weather shelter.
Olathe has become such a shithole that a homeless shelter will make a nice addition.
ReplyDeleteHobos are an upgrade from the thousands of illegal Mexicans that live there.
ReplyDeleteI you want your homeless people gone, just cal the KCFD and they’ll hose them down for you and then lie and say they didn’t
ReplyDeleteThe homeless are there visiting their rich relatives living in the section 8 suburbia slum of the Democrats making. Caution slow children ahead.
ReplyDeleteNot in my backyard!
ReplyDeleteAs Jesus Christ says: Fuck the homeless! Fuck them to hell! My Christian upbringing has taught me to hate the less fortunate. WWJD? He'd spit in their fuckin' eyes! I'm an Evangelical Conservative! I support whore-mongering and infidelity and I hate the fuckin' poor! Off with their heads!
ReplyDeleteHere's an idea, put the homeless shelters in the neighborhoods near where the Project 1020 officials live. That will make everybody happy.
ReplyDeleteso instead of giving the homeless a place to go residents want them wandering around their neighborhoods breaking into vacant buildings to sleep and shit
