No Pretreat: Ice Covered Streets Cancel Kansas City Classes Again

KCMO knew this freeze was coming . . . And once again a salt truck and plow are spoken of as urban legend throughout the city limits. Read more:

Freezing drizzle overnight leaves area roads covered in ice

Breaking News The morning commute is expected to be a hazardous one after freezing drizzle fell on Kansas City overnight. Patchy ice conditions made stopping and starting very difficult. Drizzle was expected to continue in the early morning hours. Temperatures were expected to reach the upper 20s later in the day.

I made it to work with no issues at all. They should have had schools running today. Nobody shows up at the KCPS anyway so why would today be any different.
