Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes Has Changed The Game: Winning Unnecessary In Selling The Sizzle To Fanboys!!!

The hype for this QB will continue throughout the off-season, into next season and right up until their next playoff defeat. There's no real evidence that the Chiefs will be better next year but that doesn't stop the unshakeable belief of football pundits attempting to drum up interest in a sport that's losing ground to video games among the NEXTGEN . . . Here's the marketing pitch disguised as sports news:

"Max Kellerman says Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes is the most important player in sports because he is the best player in the most-watched league. Stephen A. Smith says he would go with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady because of his success and what he’s meant for NFL. Will Cain finishes by saying there are guys in the NBA like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Steph Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo who are very important to sports."

Take a look:

  1. Interesting. So it’s like teams that are so so with one superstar. I dunno, I have mixed views on this. We have seen some players on the chiefs step up to the plate. Yet they don’t have a consistent track record so it’s hard to know.

Kelce is a beast we know that much. He is a go to. Hunt is gone...will he be back? Beating on white women seems to be a NFL pastime. Funny how the anti kavanaugh movement lets athletes slide by, but progressive politics is another story.

I’m glad Mahomes is here, but the chiefs historically are not the kind of organization to keep that kind of talent. I’m so used to a team that pushed washed up quarterbacks as a winning theme. Hey we got a used QB, and let’s run the ball up the middle on 3rd and 15 Kansas City style. I don’t know what to think!

  6. NE won because of their defense, KC lost because of theirs. Mahomes > Brady at this point.

  7. ^^^NE won because of their defense - only partially true. They also won because of a shitty call. Should have been Chiefs vs. Saints in the Super Bowl...football 'rules' are shit, especially when they can be bent in stupid ways. Piss on all this endless narrative about the Chief's 'losing'ways...they were one of four remaining teams this year. And now they've gotten rid of their shitty defensive coach....which should have happened about mid-season, of course.
