Kansas City Bank Robbers Favor Northland Because They Know Police Resources Are Always Stretched Thin Across The Bridge

  1. Sooner or later I figured they'd go where folks actually have money... and leave me alone.

  3. There are two Police Stations in KCMO north of the River, one is located near KCI, and far closer to downtown Platte City than it is to the center of its own patrol area. The second is very near to the Liberty city limits, actually abutting the small suburb of Pleasant Valley, and is far closer to downtown Liberty than to the center of its patrol area. These two stations patrol 50% of KCMOs geographical area and serve ~40%of its population.

Contrast this with the six police stations in the part of Kansas City south of the River, patrolling the other 50% of KCMO's area and serving the remaining 60% of its population. Fair?

    1. There are only 4 divisions out south, Moron.

Please report to TMC to have your head surgically removed from your ass.

  4. ^^^ The Downtown HQ and the Crime Lab both have patrol operations running from them Genius!

  5. Hate to break it to you, but the Crime Lab does not have any patrol function. Building full of scientists. HQ had detectives but no patrol. So 4 stations south of the river is correct.

  7. Plus it is Jackson County where if they get caught it will likely only be probation.

  8. KCMO is too big geographically to be governed responsibly. The city should be divided along county lines into at least two additional cities.
