Wanted to link this great Kansas City "Opry" style show celebrating 20 years in this cowtown. However, this KCMO creative class exhibit that features glorified apier-mâché will probably inspire more intense emotions . . . Which is the whole point of art in the first place. Checkit:

Folded paper is combined with collaged canvas on spray painted wood on metal rods, and on and on. He refers to this obsessive folding, collaging, and assemblage as ritualistic in nature.
