  1. City Hall has plenty of money to make an intersection in the “good” section of town to look good, but no money to repair Beadsley Road on the Westside.

  5. Well, home prices are on the rise, like it or not. 75th and wornall does suck bad and most of wornall south of 75th is pretty bad to drive on too. I'm interested to see how they'll add a turning lane there considering there isn't enough space. Artisan crosswalks sound pretty gay, but oh well. That area really is becoming more desirable recently because midtown has become expensive and more crime filled and there's a backlash against downtown condos. People like living in the city and living in actual houses so Waldo's the most doable place for that at the moment, for better or worse

  6. Bomb the entire area and begin anew. It's the only chance that section of Waldo has.

  7. Take out the Walgreens liquor/narcotics store and there would be plenty of room for renovation.

  8. The city should have acquired part of the ground back when the Mirabile’s were looking to sell it. It was no dark secret they were looking to sell. Walgreens came up with the money the Mirabile’s were seeking.

But you can not fix that intersection without gaining significant amounts of space over what the current intersection uses. The city has ignored this issue 75 years or so.
