Arrowheadlines: One mistake won't define Dee Ford
One Mistake Won't Define Dee Ford | Bleacher Report The Chiefs LB has no time for apologies about the penalty that marred his breakout season-and helped put the Pats in the Super Bowl. All that matters now is moving forward and coming back next season "even hungrier."
Unfortunately for Dee, that's not for him to decide.
ReplyDeleteJust ask Buffalo's Scott "Wide Right" Norwood how that worked out. Or Cody "Boink Boink" Parkey.
ReplyDeleteHow about one single picture down the line? Enough of the one spammed picture from off angle that appears to show him out. Why did the line judge give the go ahead? He clearly looked down the line, then back at the near-side ref for confirmation. Yes, they could have just won the game by gettin' gud, but they were definitely fighting a top dog and the league's wishes at the same time. That's a big hurdle to overcome.
ReplyDeleteTell that to Lin Elliott.
ReplyDeleteYup. It was a 3rd miss by Elliot in that 1995 playoff game vs Indy that kept KC from going to OT. The only job of a kicker is kicking. Good snaps, proper set placements, and your line protects the kicks well...YOU DON'T GO 0 for 3 at the uprights!!!
DeleteThree kicks bungled (35,39,then 42 yards)in a SINGLE game...WTF? Jersey #2 Elliot is forever remembered for that FUBAR.
11:18 - you're right. Everybody's wondering if Ford will be judged by his bad move; why aren't they asking why the ref isn't being judged for his call? Off sides revokes an interception? Especially when they apparently saw it early? BS.
