Pedestrian-involved traffic crashes rose in KCMO in 2018
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - New data from the Kansas City, Missouri police department shows there was nearly one traffic crash involving a pedestrian every day in 2018. The 360 pedestrian-involved traffic crashes is the highest number in the city over the past four years for which data was readily available.
Maybe these idiots should get off their phones and watch where they are going, that would eliminate a large portion of the problem.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should change your diaper and stay off the scary roads geezer.
DeleteThe KY patrol is up early.
DeleteWe need to ban vehicles.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the younger and dumber should stay off the streets
ReplyDeleteI've had several pedestrians walk right out in front of me on purpose it's like they dare you to hit them. Some of them have even moved slower when you honk at them. One black lady stopped in front of us and started making hand gesters.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is angry and some act like they don't even want to live anymore. It's only going to get worse.
^^^^Fact
ReplyDeleteThe pedestrians are distracted almost as much as drivers. Everyone needs to pay attention to what they are doing. Maybe a few that don't survive the collision will make others take note.
ReplyDeleteAt least six of these deaths have to be deleted from the count because they involved drugged up idiots wandering out into 71 Highway between the stop lights. And wasn't one of them in a wheelchair?
ReplyDeleteThose aren't "pedestrian involved accidents", they're "suicide by Motor Vehicle"!
Aggressive motorists running red lights and blowing through marked crosswalks and turning right on a stop sign or red light whil barely slowing down. These things are rampant. KCPD needs to step up traffic enforcement. Can start with a few key spots downtown (and also where ther have been peds run over). East 13th off of 70. East 10th at Charlotte. And so many more.
ReplyDeleteThanks, radish
