Chicago Fears Becoming Kansas City

Global climate change concern from a bigger, better city:

Warming may make Chicago feel like Kansas City in 2080, study says

WASHINGTON - The climate in New York City in 60 years could feel like Arkansas now. Chicago could seem like Kansas City and San Francisco could get a Southern California climate if global warming pollution continues at the current pace, a new study finds.

  4. ^^^^ that's nonsense. Climate change is real but there's no telling if it's manmade or not. But the climate is changing. It always does.

  6. 2080? Lmao these progressives have really lost it.they are so stupid they forgot what the planet looked like a million years ago. Science deniers.

  7. Besides, nobody wants to be killa shitty, especially Chicago, can you imagine how bad that would be for any city in this country, to be compared to killa shitty? Mass suicides would ensue.

  8. 10:47 you realize there are conservatives around the world? They are not just in America. Read (I know you won't) about what conservatives around the world say about climate change. Almost universally they accept that it is real. Only in America, where the dumbest people on Earth live is this denied. Only in America does 40% of our population get their "knowledge" about climate change from politicians and not scientists. You say "follow the money" yet you believe politicians over scientists? That is so fucking ignorant. Stop being so fucking gullible, read a non-fiction book and stop watching Fox, you are being lied to. I bet you're a big fan of the Dept of Defense right? Read what they have to say about climate change. Here's the short version of DoD reports: they believe it. Try learning about real concrete evidence, not what Alex Jones tells you.

  9. Collectively, the US Navy knows a bit more about the Ocean that Breitbart or Alex Jones, or any of the other "Climate Change Deniers".

For over two decades, he area of the Country most popular for US Navy retirees to move to has been the Aransas and Missouri Ozarks.

    Just saying.

  10. 6:16, we get our information about climate change from scientists, not politicians, Alex Jones or Faux News. Most of them are retired, since the ones on the climate change gravy train would stop at nothing to silence them if they were still employed (ref. the climategate emails). They say there has been gradual warming over the past 150 years (some say 300 years), with cooler periods and warmer periods here and there. They say there is no increase in the rate of sea level rise - in the past the oceans have been much higher and much lower than now. They say that claims of future catastrophe are wild exaggerations and useful only as a scare tactic. They say that the global warming cultists have changed past temperature records to make them appear cooler than they really were, and their vaunted models have repeatedly failed to conform to actual oserved weather.

But if the science is really settled, let's stop spending money on climate research and use the savings to build that wall.

  11. 9:23 - who are these 'scientists', exactly? And forget about the wall - it's a fantasy.
