Broken Window Redux: Blame Vacant Homes For Kansas City Homicide Spike?!?!

More crime theory from politicos . . .

MEANWHILE TAXPAYERS ARE STILL DESPERATE TO GET MORE COPS ON KANSAS CITY STREETS AS PROMISED!!!

Here's the egghead study:

Study links KCMO homicides to vacant homes

Most of the homicides reported in Kansas City, Missouri, happen in an area representing less than 11 percent of the city's 300-plus square miles. A study by the Kansas City Police Department shows a high concentration of vacant homes in that same 34-square-mile area.

  1. So i guess Whole Foods being out of free range chicken and cage free/farm fresh eggs caused the LGBT movement?

  2. Right and Sly James is responsible for making KCMO one of the safest cities in the world.

  3. This is bigger than Sly James this is depopulation and post-industrialization. This is the reason Claire McCaskill lost the election.

  7. They’re vacant because negroes never maintained them.

  8. It is a sad day when people beat around the bush about why there is such a high homicide rate instead of stating what the root cause is. They play the blame anything game very well.

    1. You’re correct. To identify what the real problem is will require a degree of political incorrectness that nobody in city government or the media has the courage to say. Even though everyone knows what the problem is.

  9. Oh my! How we will we ever address the problem Mildred??? For heaven's sake! All this pearl clutching and phony concern!! Whatever shall we do????? Oh my stars!!!

  10. Just part of the overall city plan to depopulate the area, send blacks to Grandview, then massively subsidize the rebuilding for higher income whites. But since these are the politically connected it cannot be called racism.

  11. Negroes are the problem

  14. It's the broken windows theory that Giuliani used to clean up NYC. Now I can't stand what Giuliani has become but his turn around of NYC is undeniable and we need to do it here. But here's the problem: you have to get black people on board with it and they won't. Not the "leaders" anyway. It behooves the East side grifters, made up of politicians, self-proclaimed ministers, and "community leaders" to keep the status quo so they can guilt white people into throwing more money at their problems. Look how well that has turned out. Billions of dollars spent and it is only worse. Look at Central High School where there was a murder last week. When built it was the most expensive new school ever built in America amd for all I know it still might be the most expensive ever built. Cleaning up the East side requires aggressive policing along with the support and backing of the mayor's office. Does that sound like Sly to you? Non-criminal black people should be in favor of this but it will never happen without a different mayor, a mayor with a backbone and isn't afraid to be called racist by East side grifters.

  16. Call in the National Guard, surround that 11-square block area, and do a house-to-house sweep for outstanding warrants and illegally possessed weapons, then watch the killing rats drop.
