Avoid This Kansas City Snail Mail Scam

Good info on a local bit of deception in the post that deserves to be highlighted so that locals can avoid an unnecessary cash grab. Checkit:

Kansas City, MO - If you receive a postcard warning that your car warranty is about to expire, or an envelope that says "Urgent: Time Sensitive Material enclosed, ' there's a good chance its a company trying to take your money.

Is this sorta like the unending mailings I receive, on city envelopes and letterhead, suggesting my water line is about to die, and if I will buy insurance from which the shitty gets a kickback, I'll be all safe and warm?
