TKC REALITY CHECK!!! SILLY SOCIAL MEDIA SNOW PIX SERVE AS DISTRACTION FOR KANSAS CITY INFRASTRUCTURE FAIL!!!

The avalanche of horrible photography from Kansas City locals is hard to witness given that it substitutes for real news.

Instead, let's think about something a bit more ominous . . .

- The shut down impacted weather forecasting services and notice that the lead up to this storm wasn't promoted half as much as the playoff game in town.

- More than 100K people in the metro are currently without power. The local grid continues to grow increasingly unstable.

- KCMO streets are HORRIFIC outside of the downtown loop. Urban core roads are so bad that City Hall and Mayor Sly haven't even bothered to make excuses.

Accordingly . . .

SNOW PIX AND FOOTBALL GLORY HAVE DISTRACTED KANSAS CITY FROM VERY REAL SIGNS THAT THE STANDARD OF LIVING IN THIS COWTOWN IS DROPPING FOR RESIDENTS OUT OF THE LOOP!!! 4

Whilst we all like to think of ourselves as billionaire rock stars, the reality is that NEARLY ALL locals live in modest homes far away from the creative class elite who rule the MSM discourse. Most people don't have money to do anything but buy an extra bag of popcorn to watch the playoffs on old school old TV.

And so . . .

In the cold of winter, the distraction becomes clearer.

The pomp and circumstance of manufactured hype supported by local government leaders isn't all fun and games but a very real effort to direct attention away from the problems currently confronting Kansas City that aren't getting any better.

Also, $1,000 cameras in the pockets of the fading middle-class are still JUNK because their lives and backyards are boring.

You decide . . .

  1. A bummer but somewhat correct.

Don't just blame Sly and troy though.

All of the city council should answer for it.

    1. I think people are allowed to have a good time every once in awhile but 17 weeks of the year for a party all week is a bit much.

    2. Not the Chiefs fans fault that KC MO is such a mess. Most of us live in JoCo, far away from that nightmare. Thank goodness.

  2. And now they want $270 Million to replace a 35 year old jail building?

  3. Sounds like basement boy is bitter that the Chiefs didn’t lose so he could rag on them and that no one liked his own Facebook photos of shit taken around the metro

We know you are a poor as shit and your opinion doesn't count.

Please shut up and go back insides before we smack you again.

Dumbass. If you think roads in KC are clean then you are not only wrong but you ARE putting people in danger with your lies. The roads are crap and the denial is only putting more people at risk. Think about that before you make those dumb comments @8:33.

  8. the city needs to shoot all the managers in charge (including sLIE and Troy) of snow removal, then put electrodes on all the drivers balls because they did a shit job. Never in history has this turned out so bad........ I bet clay wouldn’t let us down.

  9. You know the world around you is going to hell when you see people 24/7 caring or bragging more for the phone they carry than they do anyone else in the family or life for that matter.

8:36 as I left home yesterday morning at 03:15 my street was clear and so were the roads I traveled. When I returned home last night at 19:30 the roads had been cleared again and I had no trouble going where I wanted to. My driveway was even cleared off thanks to a neighbor because he knew after working 15 plus hours or maybe more that I would be tired when I returned home so he did me a favor. Not everyone might live where you do and what you see or do isn't at all what the rest of the world sees or experiences. So how about you shutting up and stop being the TKC Hater Bully that you are.

  11. The crews in JoCo definitely deserve credit. They’ve done a good job as usual of clearing the streets and parking lots here.
