TKC READER GUIDE: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE KANSAS CITY POTHOLE?!?!

We love the push back coming after this MSM report basically misrepresents how street repair really working in Kansas City.

A reader note:

"This has been here for three years. I’ve been meaning to send this to you for awhile, the “smart cities” article reminded me to give you this beauty."

Actually, we've seen this same scenario across the metro so we won't share the locale but it's a pretty high traffic area.

And so we ask . . .

WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE LOCAL POTHOLE AMONG SO MANY TO CHOOSE?!?!

You decide . . .

  1. Don't forget the "Smart Airport"

The city may be able to borrow $400 million from the federal government's Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (TIFIA) funding that they'd pay back over time. They'd be able to borrow it on a two percent interest rate.

"We might be the first airport in the country to use TIFIA to help finance the terminal, which is a great way to lower the cost to our fliers who are going to pay the bills," said city manager Troy Schulte.

  2. All the potholes have been filled with pansies by the parks and rec department so they will be easier to locate by the street department.
