Lee's Summit R-7
January 28, 2019
Dear Patrons of the R7 School District,
The Board of Education has spent a considerable amount of time working towards common ground in light of the recent photograph that surfaced and the letter from the NEA. The Board worked through a two-step process to ensure that both issues were vetted fully and in the best interest of the school district. The first step involved a meeting with all Board of Education members. Members were asked to share their thinking on these events, reflect on who has been affected, consider how they affect the vision, mission, and goals of the district, and consider what needs to be done to move forward. Policies were also closely reviewed and a healthy discussion ensued. The next meeting involved Dr. Carpenter and he was asked to share his thoughts on the events, as well as offer a plan on moving forward. Dr. Carpenter was candid and open in sharing his feelings and offered an apology for the distraction to our work. The board agreed to support Dr. Carpenter and work with him through this time.
The Board of Education acknowledges that we live in a time where we must be mindful of our actions. We are sensitive to the fact that we are all human beings, that no one is perfect, and we must learn to have productive dialogue together. It is important for our patrons to know that your Board of Education appreciates and values your feedback, has heard your concerns, and sincerely hopes that we can all move forward for the betterment of our children. And to our amazing staff, we are extremely grateful for the wonderful work you do each and every day.
Respectfully,
Phyllis Balagna
Board President

And so we ask . . .
WAS THIS THE RIGHT DECISION?!?
You decide . . .
Absolutely the right thing. Nobody is perfect and it was really a vendetta against him by the teachers.
ReplyDeleteIt's not just about the guy flipping the bird. The bigger question is: Would another teacher get the same treatment by the board. That remains to be seen.
DeleteAs a former teacher in the district, I know I would have suffered harsh consequences. We were warned about social media and how we represent this community constantly. Very odd how different it is for this superintendent...
DeleteEvery chick I know that graduated from Lees Summit schools is a slut.
ReplyDeleteThey’re no sluts, they just get fucked a lot.
Delete^^^^^^
ReplyDeleteNOT ME!
ReplyDeleteThis is what our schools have become this guy should be OUT! Nobody's perfect but this was a deliberate and trashy act. If you let your kid go to school there you have no love or concern for your child. PATHETIC!
Get over it people you don't know all the facts.
ReplyDelete11:50 how about you jam it up your ass sideways. Or do you like that?
ReplyDeleteUnlike you, the man really didn't do anything wrong.
The School Board just gave the finger to the residents of Lee’s Summit
ReplyDelete^^Whaaa!!! I'm so old!!!!! The middle finger triggers me!!! Whaaaa!!!
ReplyDeleteShut up, cuntmouth.
DeleteAppears to be a mentally stable, friendly, and well disciplined guy in the official suit pic.
ReplyDeleteSocial Media Flipping the bird pic. See the booze acts like a truth serum.
ReplyDeleteReading the response tells me the Board of Education realized there is no policy prohibiting what he has done. I suspect that will change PDQ.
ReplyDeleteCarpenter 1 NEA 0
Get ready, educators, for some interesting "Professional Development."
They own this boys ass now, he’ll do whatever they tell him now, that’s the deal folks
ReplyDeleteThat’s what you get for bringing the hood to the burbs
ReplyDeleteNow every kid in the district has a free middle finger pass
ReplyDeleteShort timer for sure now...
ReplyDeleteYes. Everybody needs to chill.
ReplyDeleteI'm giving Phil Cardarella the bird now.
DeleteFellatio Phil
DeleteHe can kiss his next contract goodbye.
ReplyDelete"Revenge is a dish that tastes best cold."
The real mistake was hiring a superintendent from a bad school district that's in financial ruins.
ReplyDeleteDouble standard if a white person does something stupid they get fired. Ask the Lees Summit women nurse who got fired last year for a Halloween costume.
ReplyDeleteThat hire made no sense. Incompetent people or something more sinister going on with the LS school board.
ReplyDeleteHis race card lawyer has been in contact with the district. No foul.
ReplyDeleteTypical affirmative action hire.
ReplyDeleteIt's the reason the U.S. is circling the drain.
Black people get all the breaks.
ReplyDeleteAnd do most of the break ins..
DeleteSchool board don't want to be called racist. Simple as that.
ReplyDeleteYou should also be enraged at City Hall. The corruption abounds! Start asking questions about the salaries, and the disgruntled employees who keep their mouths shut about the policy and salary violations, as well as the indifference they treat the taxpayers when they make Sunshine Requests, or get defensive if they have to answer a point blank question, which they immediately try to gaslight. Watch their Council meetings online. Sometimes they forget they are being taped. They are so busy trying to create growth, they may be letting prior commitments with taxpayer money they have socked away, Starting yet more projects, while those other set- a- side money, gets rolled into another budget. I hope other readers who reside in Lees Summit are being good "oversight" citizens and make sure administration knows that they are being held to standards they were elected for.
ReplyDelete11:41 is correct. LS girls have a reputation for being slutty. I even heard about it growing up on the KS side. Belton was another area for some easy smash.
ReplyDeleteI would just say this: The Lee's Summit School Board has just adopted a new policy. If the Superintendent can do crude, crass, nasty, immature and unacceptable things, then so can anyone else that works in that district until the end of time. Otherwise they can be expected to pay big judgments against the school district for discrimination.
ReplyDeleteSo he flipped a bird at whomever was holding the camera. Big deal. Most everyone else has done something at least that silly.
ReplyDeleteMuch more serious are his race based educational practices, right out of the grievances industry's instructional guide. Unless the school board or the district parents intervene, he will have the schools crawling with high paid diversity & inclusion consultants whose job is to achieve some vague concept of "racial equity," which presumes that group educational disparities are the result of one thing, systemic racism.
It would be laughable but for the lasting harm it will do to the district's kids.
He said he was sorry. Wasn’t like he flashed his wang or something. I say let it go.
ReplyDeleteRadish
2:38 long racist boring rant. What do you mean “controlled their numbers”??? B.S. negro slaves were imported as fast as possible even though the slave trade was made illegal in 1808. Negro slaves were bred as fast as possible by rich profiteers like the Virginian Robert E Lee. For southern markets, Texas, etc. if Jefferson Davis or John c Calhoun’s wildest wet dreams came true there would have been a million slaves in California and a hundred thousand in Kansas and 200,000 in Oregon.
ReplyDeleteHow miserable you must be to live in a country with 50 million blacks. Why? Because global capitalism went positively freaknik in the New World for 250 years. Stupid southern whites were obsessed with slavery because they liked it and it made them rich and they loved concubinage. Don’t take it out on today’s generation of black people they have just as much right to be here (or more) as you do.
-Radish
No they don’t, jackoff
DeleteThey’re here by luck. Lincoln was working on a plan to send them back to Africa that never was finalized because of his death. Even though he disagreed with slavery, he knew they weren’t civilized and never would be (read letters he wrote stating this). Any of them that are here today should ask themselves if they would rather be living in a hut, chucking spears and cooking on a campfire. If not, then STFU.
DeleteI think this gives the teachers license to do whatever they want whne it comes to social media now. The lowering of standards.
ReplyDeleteBet he thanked God for making him a black man?
ReplyDeleteA class can only advance as fast as the slowest student.
ReplyDeleteLS R-7 School Board President dances around the issue!
ReplyDeleteDr. Carpenter FAILED to conduct himself in a professional respectable manner by allowing social media to accurately portray him as an alcohol-drinking, middle-finger flipping profane individual.
The board members who voted to hire him as Superintendent made a crucial mistake. After failing to properly supervise the previous Superintendent who was forced out for misconduct, they repeated their incompetence by hiring Carpenter. He came from the dysfunctional Hickman Mills district where every student gets free government meals, and race-based intervention is standard.
This recent social media incident was the perfect opportunity for the board to move in a new fresh direction. Carpenter supplied his own firing squad. That the board is so blind and ignorant to not give Carpenter notice that his contract will not be renewed is shocking. Residents will be left to rectify this situation at the next school board election.
6:37 I don’t know much about the Hickman mills school district. Is it really that bad?
ReplyDeleteyeah 12:26 get me some weed or else i find you and punch you in jaw for being a dimwitted moral justice guru.
ReplyDelete5:10. Sigh. As if it would ever be possible to repatriate four million enslaved black people (slave population in 1860].
ReplyDeleteJigs just be jiggin. TNB
ReplyDeleteMountain over a molehill. I'd rather we talk about test scores and the future of the district rather than this nonsense. The teachers and a few racist parents won't let it go. Damn shame.
ReplyDelete@3:00 PM nails it. What this really does is change the rules for everyone else. No accountability possible now. it's open season.
ReplyDeleteWas it the right decision? Absolutely. Firing the guy for a photo is silly and doesn't give much protection to the next superintendent. We need strong leaders for our schools. This guy might not be that but at least we should try to uphold the dignity of the officer even if he can't.
ReplyDeleteLS obviously decided that Koonsas City was the best role model to emulate when it comes to public schools.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I do not hate niggers at all, I just correctly understand that they are not human and treat them accordingly. They are nothing more than wild niggers running around loose and one must act accordingly around them. A hundred and fifty years or so ago, people in this country treated niggers accordingly and kept them contained and controlled. We made them useful by managing their numbers, containing them, and forcing them to work and be somewhat productive. But the natural empathy of the White man caused him to unrestrain a species of animal (niggers) largely due to the fact they they mimick humans in their behavior and dress. Now that the genie is out of the bottle, he can't be put back in and we're stuck with living around 30 million wild niggers.
ReplyDeleteI am never surprised when I hear stories of TNB; stories of niggers raping, torturing, murdering and beating White people. Stories from Africa of them raping babies, toddlers, and goats; drinking lizard pee and smoking their own shit to get high. The rampant disease and famine there and watching their nigglets die off by the millions while their mammies get gang-banged in the bush to pump out another litter. Nothing about niggers surprises me at all because I do not compare their behavior with that of humans.
The only way to hate niggers and to justify the old, tired whigger accusation that racists are full of hate and spread hate and all that nonsense is only if you consider niggers human. It WOULD fill me up with hate and want to get revenge if a group of humans acted the same way niggers do and created so much misery, pain, and suffering in the world. But if you consider them as the animals that they are - a separate species from human - their actions do not surprise nor cause hate at all.
But it does fill me with a sense of bewilderment as to why we allow the nigger herd to run around completely unchecked and unmanaged. The destruction and drain on society they cause is appalling.
Do you not understand the plethora of evil and corruption that exist among white people? I'm white and I can admit to that fact. Your rant has nothing to do with the subject. Making this about race says more about you than anything else. AND I say this as someone that feels this situation should be taken seriously and not overlooked.
