TKC EXCLUSIVE BLOG COMMUNITY QUESTION!!! AMID MARATHON BORDER WALL SHUT DOWN: WILL KANSAS CITY SUPPORT PREZ TRUMP IMPEACHMENT?!?!

The end of the Trump Presidency is now under very real public discussion by way of a major, nationally syndicated magazine.

The headline sent shock waves through both liberal and conservative media outlets . . . Local media is keeping the talk quiet but here on TKC our blog community wants it front and center this morning.

Atlantic: Impeach Donald Trump - Starting the process will rein in a president who is undermining American ideals—and bring the debate about his fitness for office into Congress, where it belongs.

We want to come at this one from all angles.

Consider . . .

- KCMO protest against the Prez amid the shut down have been smallish at best.

- Still, the Fed government employs more locals than anyone else and 50K workers & so many more vendors are impacted by this ongoing impasse as public opinion on the move by the Prez has clearly shifted.

- Congressman Cleaver has been the voice of reason for the Democratic Party and has not only advised against impeachment but also sought to reign in radical leftists like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Still, while the outskirts of town might still be "Trump Country" . . . After the Blue Wave it's clear that the two most heavily populated areas in the metro are now controlled by Democratic Party thought leaders.

And so, again, we ask . . .

IS KANSAS CITY READY TO IMPEACH PREZ TRUMP?!?!

  1. There have been people talking impeachment from day one. KC might support it but that doesn't mean it will happen.

  3. Of course we support his impeachment. He is a de facto Russian plant. He has obstructed justice and violated the emoluments clause. His administration is the most corrupt our country has never known. The dirty little secret is a lot of Republicans support it too.

  4. 8:51, Obama and Clinton were Russian stooges. Bill Clinton got millions for speeches in Russian, and the Clinton Foundation took myriad contributions from Foreign Governments.

So who ya kiddin? We know you're a bot.

  5. Wake up and smell the coffee, succas. Kansas City is not important on the National Scene.

  6. It is weird how not even the Star mentioned the Atlantic piece. Seems like more of a threat to get Trump back to the negotiating table. it's a long shot but can only effective if the move to impeach picks up traction from other media. Notice that fox news keeps oming g

  7. No, Kansas City, whatever that means, won't support impeachment, but it will give the usual marchers and "demanders" a whole new reason to buy more cardboard and Magic Markers for signs.
They will be a easily ignored and impotent as ever, but it's a great opportunity to invest in companies who manufacture and distribute that stuff.
Also those that enable selfies and other opportunities for clueless people to make believe they're actually accomplishing something.
    Which they're not.

  8. KC supports impeachment. The only ones who don't are the geriatrics who make no discernible contribution to society anyway. They are of no consequence and therefore their opinions don't matter. Elections have consequences and losing the House, ensured this was always going to be the result. It is warranted. Bring it on.

    Trump isn't going anywhere.

    Niether is Peloise.

  10. Trump should not be impeached. He also should not be allowed to resign. Both he and his dwindling number of supporters must be allowed to see what the results of electing a blowhard bozo who would not even be allowed to come to most civilized people's Thanksgiving dinners to be the leader of the free world will be.

And no, I'm not a Hillary supporter (I wouldn't want her at my Thanksgiving dinner)--the Democrats have a bunch of lessons to learn from this fiasco as well.

But be advised--when supporters turn against a demagogue, things get ugly. Think Mussolini ugly.

  11. Look at this point, the only people who still support Trump are the willfully ignorant, and thus easily discarded. Most everyone else understands that Trump is a threat to the security of this nation. It has long passed the point of sticking with him to stick it to the libs. It is vitally important to remove him from office before anymore damage can be done.

  12. How much more proof do people need to see that the media and social media in particular has become nothing more then a political manipulation machine constantly bombarding people with bullshit rather then reporting and letting people make their own decisions?

  15. Well fortunately we don't rely on opinions in this country, we rely on facts. The facts of the case against Trump will be revealed in time. Mueller already has the facts and the only people who will refuse to believe those will be complicit in his crimes.

  20. The average person is nothing but a pawn in this entire narrative, and none of the dogs in this fight care a whit about the screaming supporters on the sidelines.

Just go about living your life as best you can, avoiding the government and media megalomaniacs to the best of your ability. All the marching and screaming in the world will get you nothing but a sore throat and tired feet Unless you are helping form a media narrative, are a member of the 1/10th of 1%, or happen to have major connections at the highest echelons of political power, your voice is, and will remain, unheard.

It doesn't matter if you're a raging MAGA conservative with a freezer full of Trump steaks, or a fire-breathing liberal with a tattoo of Alex "Occasional" Cortez on your forehead. This is a game between those at the top of the heap. The higher ups, the elites, WANT "the people" at each other's throats; it allows them to continue their machinations undisturbed.

They'll all come out of it fine, and the masses will get whatever tiny scraps are thrown their way. History is redundant as hell, and this same scenario has played out countless times over the ages.

  22. If anyone needs to be removed it's Pelosi. The speaker of the house should be hard at work dealing and working with the President to end this shut down. Instead she has her granny panties in a twist because she didn't get to take a trip overseas at the taxpayers cost. This so called new report is nothing but an excuse for Pelosi and her tribe of misfits to stall on agreeing to anything coming from the HOR. The wall here isn't the issue at all the issue is HOR and it's speaker have no desire at all to work with the current elected President. Pelosi blames Trump for the shut down when she should be the one who is blamed for not aggressively working to end the shut down over wanting to take mini vacations and making public non-points and about not allowing the President to make the State of the Union Address speech. She is afraid Trump might explain to the nation what a total waste of time it is for her to be the Speaker and how she is doing a lousy job of it.

Then clinton was to be removed for com miring perjury (an actual crime) but the senate didnt do it. The GW Bush was to be impeached because of Iraq, said the democrats. Then it was the GOP a anting to impeach Obama for giving Iran Cash
Since the day of the election democrats have been screeming about impeaching trump and I cant Find a single one to explain what crime He supposedly commited in office, which is the criteria for impeachment
Just because you hate the guy isnt a reason

  25. Super Dave, what's to negotiate? Honest question. Trump just wants all the money for a wall. How's that negotiating? See, when you negotiate, one party gives up something to another party in order to get what they want. Trump is not willing to do any of that. He put DACA on the table previously and in turn shit on the Democrats after the right wing dildo's on fox and the radio lambasted his ass for it. The Dems have wised up. You give this fucking man baby what he wants and he continues to do it over and over. Trump is in a corner.

  30. 11:14, "whataboutism," otherwise known as a tu quoque argument, did not originate with the USSR. It is ludicrous to argue that it did. Tu quoque has been a recognized logical fallacy since long before the USSR.

However, it's only a fallacy if it is deployed with the intent to falsify a debate opponent's argument. If it is instead used to demonstrate the opponent's dishonest hypocrisy, like was done in the post you replied to, it is an acceptable use.

So, to no one's surprise except perhaps your own, you are a hypocrite at best.

  31. Hey stupid dave, why should Pelosi negotiate with Trump? She passed the CTR that gave $1.6 billion in border security and the great big man-baby refused to sign it. There will be ZERO negotiations until the government is open. NONE WHATSOEVER. This country does not negotiate with terrorists. He is holding 800,000 govt. employees hostage. Oh, and her trip overseas was not a publicity stunt, she was going to visit the troops again, unlike big-baby boy who had to be shamed to go over there for 3 hours. He is a disgrace, and that fact that a talking monkey like you supports him, makes it easier to despise him.

  40. KNOW YOUR SOURCE

In July 2017, a majority interest in The Atlantic was acquired by the Emerson Collective, a social change activism group funded by Laurene Jobs (widow of Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple).

Jobs and the Emerson Collective are based in Palo Alto, California located in the San Francisco Bay area. This is one of the most politically liberal areas of the United States.

The editor-in-chief of The Atlantic is Jeffrey Goldberg, a NYC-born, Jewish, self-described left-wing Democratic Party activist. Goldberg holds dual American/Israeli citizenship.

In other words, this article from The Atlantic is merely yet another example of the hysterical Liberal Democrats who predominate within American corporate media, whining about President Trump, who dared spoil their plans to turn America into a Socialist Hellhole Ghetto led by Madam Hillary, Nancy "Alzheimer's" Pelosi, Chucky "kvetch" Schumer, and Mad Maxine Waters.

    ReplyDelete
  41. ^^ Whole-heartedly agree.

The intolerant left and intolerant MSM have been complaining about President Trump ever since he was elected because they do not like him. They cannot comprehend that someone outside of the political establishment was elected.
The intolerant left and the intolerant people of KCMO cannot accept that people have different viewpoints than theirs. It pains the intolerant people that many people do not subscribe to their group think. The President is just trying to get Congress to do their job instead of just grandstanding.
