TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! SOUTHLAND COUNCIL DUDE SCOTT TAYLOR DEBUTS CAMPAIGN OFFICE AND STARTS GROUND GAME IN KANSAS CITY RACE FOR MAYOR!!!
Once again, he's out ahead of his competition and kicking off the most important aspect of any KCMO mayoral contest.
To wit . . .
FIRST ON TKC . . . COUNCIL DUDE SCOTT TAYLOR AND CATHY JOLLY OPENED A SOUTHLAND MAYORAL CAMPAIGN OFFICE THIS WEEKEND AND STARTED WORK ON THEIR GROUND GAME AHEAD OF ANY OTHER CANDIDATE!!!
Here's why this matters . . .
Democratic National Committee connections along with union support have given Councilman Taylor the early advantage in the ground game. In a low turnout election, having the ability to get to voters where they live is essential. Moreover, the infrastructure Council Dude Taylor has garnered puts other candidates at a disadvantage and at the mercy of clueless consultants who think buying commercial time or social media ads moves voters.
Nope . . . What we're looking at is Council dude Taylor with access to every nursing home, housing project and middle-class senior enclave from Martin City to Midtown . . . These places are full of regular voters who will be getting multiple house visits for the next three months touting the 6th District At-large leader.
Don't get it twisted, there's no such thing as a lock in such crowded race BUT this is a good start for the Council dude as we attempt to explain the sausage-making of local politics and how elections are really won in KCMO whilst the clueless plebs listen to mostly meaningless public debates and forums.
Here's the insider word . . .
Taylor open his headquarters over the weekend.
First mayoral candidate to open campaign offices. Located in The newly renovated Red Bridge shopping Center in South Kansas City.
He had over 200 people there at his grand opening.
His campaign had knocked 25,000 doors since last June and hosted 14 town halls across the city, called "Saturday's with Scott"

I think I see Jolie Justus there, crying in the corner. And having a cupcake.

ReplyDeleteKCMO 2019 - Dark, difficult, demanding and downright scary
ReplyDeleteI think Cathy should run. She is very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteJust a John Sharp puppet.
ReplyDeleteThis is all very disturbing news, not the least of which is why Scott is wearing the pants in the family for the photos.
ReplyDeleteThe good news is, of course, that there's still a state line and 114 other municipalities for metro residents to live in and enjoy competent city management, excellent public schools, affordable tax structures, and outstanding basic services.
Grab the popcorn and watch the show!
This is one scary picture. Some of the most regressive people in KC against liquor card reform, short term rentals and TIF reform. Vote NO on Scott Taylor.
ReplyDeleteI know this is book by the cover stuff, but he looks like a thieving fink.
ReplyDeleteLiberals...
ReplyDeleteTheir is at most 30 people in the picture. John Sharp must be doing the counting because their is no way their was 200 at this wake.
ReplyDelete^^^^^KCPS?
ReplyDeleteA vote for Taylor is really a vote for Cathy. If you think the Funkhousers were a nightmare in city hall you ain't seen nothing yet if these two make it there.
ReplyDeleteWhere do I get my Clay Chastain yard sign?
ReplyDelete11:06 is the winner.
ReplyDeleteHe’s white, so he’s better than we have now.
ReplyDeleteA turd is better than our current mayor
DeleteI vote no on Taylor. I'd rather have the other Scott.
ReplyDeleteI don't like taylor either. The other Scott is Wagner and he's better than the lawyer.
ReplyDeleteCan he Tweet stupid stuff. That's what is important.
ReplyDeleteEmpty fucking suit!
