A group of Kansas City filmmakers has a short film that debuts at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The annual festival begins Thursday. is a 15-minute film that was shot entirely in the Kansas City and Lawrence areas.

  3. Local media doesn't do a very good job of highlighting that Crestview Elementary is the most diverse Elementary School in the State.

    I haven't seen recent statistics, but two years ago there were something like 28 native languages spoken by their students.

    Kudos to the District and to the Crestview Staff for their excellent work.

    (As an aside, the NKC District also has the third most diverse High School in the State as well. Kudos there too!)
