REALITY CHECK: 1ST KANSAS CITY MURDER OF 2019 DEBUNKS PROGRESSIVE POLITICALLY CORRECT STEREOTYPES!!!
It's worth nothing that the start of this year's murder count contradicts so much of the talking points regarding the current KCMO homicide dilemma.
Advocates note the devastating toll that local murders take on women.
That's 100% accurate but in this instance a dude was stabbed to death.
Opponents of the 2nd Amendment argue against the proliferation of firearms as one of the main drivers of KC's EPIC homicide coun
Sadly, this homicide is one of many committed by way of the knife.
And so . . .
While we respect data trends, in the discussion. It's likely that a LACK OF RESPECT FOR LIFE also remains tragically neglected and trumps so much political chatter touting demographics, partisan politics and taxpayer sponsored advocacy.

KC woman charged in fatal Jan. 2 stabbing of boyfriend
According to court records filed today, Kansas City police responded to a reported cutting at Truman Medical Center. They learned the victim had stated he was stabbed by his girlfriend in an apartment in the 2100 block of E. 10th Street. He died as a result of that stabbing. After obtaining a search warrant, police found a steak knife in the kitchen sink. It appeared to have blood, hair fibers and flesh on it. Apparent blood also was found on the floor. Witnesses identified the defendant as the victim's current girlfriend. When he arrived at the hospital, the victim told a nurse that his girlfriend stabbed him. Another TMC employee heard the statement.The defendant was later taken into custody.
Prosecutors requested a bond of $100,000 cash.
