KCP&L works to restore power as locals try to deal with the cold

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -- Thousands of people have spent more than 24 hours without power. By Sunday morning, there were still 80,000 KCP&L customers without power. As of Sunday evening at 5 p.m., 59,016 KCP&L customers are still without power. They said they are focusing on the repairs that will make the biggest impact for the most customers.

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) --- KCK police are investigating in the 1400 block of N. 38th Street after a man was reportedly stabbed and punched during a game of cards. Police say the suspect, who is in custody, punched the victim twice in the face.
