  1. The go bond money is gone. Transferred to rename Paseo committee.

  2. The go bond money went for 18th and vine failure, trying to spend it on renaming of the Paseo, infrastructure to developers of new Troost and Armour project, among other new builds. In the mean time everyone's property tax went up. Mine went up $200.00 and at the end of this year will probably go up more along with this reassessment year.

I remember some idiot saying the go bond would only raise our taxes $6.00 per year, when it was clear if you did the math that it would be way more than that. I know of a house that is unlivable that went up $800.00 and the asking price was only upper $200K . So to all of you people who voted for the bogus go bond because you are stupid enough to fall for Sly James bulk mail propaganda...SUCK IT UP!

  5. Don't understand the summary posted on this story, Tony.

GUARDRAILS! That's what the link referenced
    NOT SIDEWALKS- GUARDRAILS!

The Northland has never had sidewalks, those and curbs are reserved for you Southerners. The section of Parvin where this tragedy occurred has been promised a guardrail by the City for over thirty years, and nothing has been done.

I think you folks south of the River ought to get fed up with the Northland folks constantly whining about getting something in return for the 63% of total Revenues that we provide KC with and just kick our ungrateful asses out of "YOUR CITY", (taking along with us 50% of your total area and 2 out of every 5 of KC's residents, plus that 63% of your income).

I'm fairly sure North Kansas City, Riverside, Gladstone or Liberty would provide for we poor lost lambs, and if not, well, there is no "Northland, Missouri" up to now, is there?
