Baseball and football belong closer to Downtown Kansas City and not in some taxpayer ripoff scheme run by Jackson County. The improvements are minor but the issue of KANSAS CITY'S DESPERATE NEED FOR A DOME remains. Read more:

  1. Fine by me, if the Chiefs and Royals ownership want to get together and build one.
But if they want it built for them, forget it!

The fiction that Professional Sports Teams bring any benefits to their host Cities is fine for those Cities that can afford them, but Kansas City has been bankrupted by the TIF handouts of the Barnes and James Administration over the years, and needs to face financial reality.

  2. Downtown is fucked up enough as it is. We can’t even do the streetcar or bike lanes right. The whole airport thing is totally fucked up. How bad would we fuck everything up with a new stadium, with the incompetence in city government that we have?

  3. Fine with me if the Chiefs move on like the Rams did and maybe the Chiefs will get to the Super Bowl in another 10 to 15 years.

  8. Fixing Arrowhead a waste??? Yes it is. I don't give a damn about Arrowhead and the wasted money fixing it so the drunk PINKO's can tear it up again, and ungrateful black people can show their fake suppression.

Tear it down for all I care.

  9. ^^Thanks for your opinion. It doesn't matter in the least. Arrowhead renovations are on course.

  10. Arrowhead is great where it's at. Football stadiums aren't meant to be downtown. Royals should be downtown though. With 81 games, playing out in the middle of nowhere leads to a lot less people on monday, tuesday, wednesday games. If people really want to push downtown, you do need stuff like a baseball stadium or some sort of recurring presence downtown. It's the old dumbshits who like going to watch baseball in the middle of nowhere that are neither fans of baseball or the city

  12. I would be careful about investing large sums of money into football stadiums at any level.
There is a decline in junior high and high school boys going out for football. If this continues, we could someday see a decline in football as we know it. You’d hate to invest a bunch of money into stadiums for something that may someday go extinct.

  14. that stadium and location are both shitholes. The team was to cheap to move to kansas with a roof. You got nothing around the studium so no foot traffic. The electrical water and other cabling is a joke. Cant ride uber to the studium thanks to greed. The hunts are champions at taking money from people in KC thats all.
