Defeated Kansas Congressman Kevin Yoder Joins K Street Lobbying Firm

Taking a bit of the luster off his good guy image, here's a glimpse of the former JoCo power player now earning a lot of cash by way of exerting his influence around D.C. and beyond . . .

Yoder, Messer land on K Street

Former Republican Reps. (Kan.) and (Ind.) are the next on the growing list of lawmakers who are headed to K Street firms after Congress. Yoder, who lost his reelection to Democrat , will be a partner at HHQ Ventures. Messer, who left the House to unsuccessfully run for the Senate, will be a principal at Faegre Baker Daniels Consulting.

  1. Of course. Where else would useless blood sucking ex-politicos go to become another skanky DC influence-peddling rich fuck? Republican, democrat, no difference. Useless parasites.

  2. Shocking.

He's better off. Skip the campaign fund middle man and put the check directly into his own pocket.

Yoder was the worst. He's always worked for lobbyists and nobody else.

  3. Its nice he could find a job in his own home town and didn't have to go through the bother of selling his long-time residence and begin house hunting while at the same time working at his new job.

Now he'll never have to set foot in the disgusting fly-over part of this Country again.

  5. He will probably do better now than he did as an elected official. Get the money lets move Sharice the socialist commie out.

  6. Jesus. I remember when people pretended to have some ethics. Six seconds after a humiliating defeat, he's peddling influence in Washington? Kansas, you have some ethics.

  7. I receive this news with a heavy heart. I had hoped for better from Yoder. And setting aside principles and to speak of politics, why is Yoder doing this? With Roberts retiring why doesn't Yoder keep his powder dry for a run at the US senate????

Disappointed. And I was one of the few Yoder voters in WyCo.

    Thanks,
    Radish
