The Clay County homepage says "Welcome State Audit Team!...Clay County welcomes the Missouri State Auditor's staff and looks forward to a procedure that delivers accurate public information and sound recommendations." Yet, State Auditor Nicole Galloway had to issue subpoena for basic information.
How much as the county spent trying to fight/stop/delay the audit? I want an answer to this question. Can you answer it or do I need to wait for an email from Spencer Fane telling me they've received my sunshine request only to respond that they don't have that information?
