CHEAPSKATES STILL RULE KANSAS!!!

Deal with this reality . . . A biz that can't afford to pay workers more than $7.25 without suffering collapse isn't a real biz.

There is no plan to implement robots to work for less than $7.25-an-hour and tech is an much bigger investment than NOT being a scumbag and ripping people off with legal wage theft . . .

Here's is a shameful fact to start the day in the Sunflower State with the reality that every legislator has FAILED low wage workers in Kansas. Checkit:

Numerous states increase minimum wage, but Kansas holds steady at $7.25 per hour

  1. I absolutely disagree.

Robots will one day work cheap.

But for now India & China work even cheaper.

  3. Minimum wage law sets the MINIMUM that workers are allowed to get paid. There is no Maximum minimum wage law. Employers can pay workers what ever they can afford and remain in business.
In this economy the minimum wage law is irrelevant.

  4. Wages are paid on competitive basis of the job, with minimum in mind. Most jobs pay in excess of minimum wage.

  5. I know of a lot of unskilled labor workers in Kansas and not a one of them is making under $8.50 an hour. This is nothing but a clickbait story that in fact tells no story. What it doesn't tell you in the headlines is that two states pay just $5.15 an hour for minimum wage. KVOE is a local hick channel out of Emporia the city that allows meat packing plants that pay mexican labors cheaper wages over native Kansans. But you notice they didn't attack the largest labor force of the town they live in.

  6. Small businesses and business just starting out rely on this before they begin to turn a profit. Saying "you're not a real business" is just cheap name calling and does nothing for anyone.

  7. What a joke, no one works for minimum wage except retards and felons.

Besides, if you don't like what you make then go find a job that pays you what you think you're worth. No one has a gun to your head.

    This is called Freedom.

  8. I know a company that pays well over Minimum Wage and they add on top of it $125 -200 per week if you just show up for work five days in a row. About half get the bonus and half don't because they don't show up or are hours late in getting to work. They also have a program to buy bus passes if you don't own a car. What more can an employer do? Send Uber to pick you up?
