BORDER WALL GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN ANTICLIMAX: PREZ TRUMP FLOPPED WHILST SCHUMER & PELOSI MOCKED!!! KANSAS CITY UNCONVINCED?!?!?

Like most American orgasms, the MSM build up for an immigration confrontation amid a government shut down was thrilling but ultimately resulted in a giant let down, guilt, shame and regret.

Two things . . .

Without the screaming supporters at his rallies, a cast of henchmen or the toys won by his dad's riches and/or the U.S. military - Prez Trump seemed feeble, out of sorts, out of touch, unsure of his ideas and without a real plan. The border wall as an effort to fight the drug war has always been a losing argument that's willfully ignorant of the power of global capitalism to satisfy/supply the insatiable American demand for illegal drugs.

But here's the kicker . . .

AS ALWAYS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY FOUND A WAY TO LOOK EVEN WORSE THAN PREZ TRUMP!!!

The ideas from the Prez Trump Administration are childish and impractical yet still the response was even worse . . .

The nation, in turn, roasted the DNC with memes that were mostly mean and politically motivated. However, this one was a favorite that seemed to capture the absurdity of this conversation . . .

As promised, here are a few of the better quotes from our blog community that deserve to be highlighted . . .

TKC Blog Community Juxtaposition

"President Trump nailed it. The difference between Trump's speech and the Democrats speech was Trump's was about national security and the Democrat response was about Trump."

Artsy Reference

"I wouldn’t mention geriatric appeal unless you want to include Schumer and Pelosi who looked like an elderly version of “American Gothic.” All that was missing was the pitchfork."

Compare & Contrast

"I didn't hear all this uproar, when (President) Obama closed the government for 17 days til they passed Obamacare. There have been many shutdowns by both parties, previously. Pelosi and Schumer were basically speechless and only said "Trump is wrong" with zero facts to back up their position. Trump made an excellent case for the wall. The Schumer, and Pelosi sideshow was droll."

Super Dave Shares History

"President Trump should have started tonight by playing clips of Hillary, President Obama, Schumer, Pelosi and other congress members all talking about border control and voting to do so in the past. The wall and border control is nothing new, Trump is just going to see it happens."

Chuck Talks Politics Of Security

"It's always, always about the money and the power it takes to get the money. The Democrats lost the white, working middle class and want to replace them with government dependent 3rd world illegals from south of the border. Trump wants Americans to make money, have families and prosper. Rich Republicans want cheap labor and Democrats want power and money. The wall, in addition to other strategies, WILL work. It does work in Egypt, Israel and other countries, where we send tax dollars to help pay for their walls."

Back To The Shut Down

"He's hates law enforcement. Trump is treating the border patrol like the contractors at his bankrupt casinos - he's not paying them. It doesn't matter anyway. He had 2 years with full government control and got nada. Now after getting has ass kicked in the midterms, you think he suddenly has more power to get it done? Sorry. It's over. There will be no wall. You've been Trumped."

TKC Commenter Notes The Bigger Picture

"Bring the worlds police home and put them on our southern border. They have been training in the desert for almost 20 years now we need to get something for the trillions we spent overseas."

Accordingly, here are some our favorite links about last night:

  2. The comments that mention the history of this thing are correct. As much as the Schumer/Pelosi memes are funny. Look back and see that no sitting President wins a shut down. Didn't really help Pres Obama in the long run, hurt Clinton and will hurt Trump. For better or worse, people want their government up and running, poor bastards.

People also want that wall. A lot of people do, the Democratic Party denying it and just going after Trump doesn't really help their case. Especially since so many Democrats made it into office by saying that they also supported border security like Super Dave said.

No his own party is not splitting from him! It's a few that want to give in because the people are suffering without pay. Get a clue fag. I have written to both Trump and Blunt to keep the Gov. closed! My household is working without pay but don't want to give into idiots like you!

There is no negotiation that is the problem Pelosi and Schumer have not negotiated at all. Trump speech was excellent and if you can't see the danger in what is happening to our country then sad for you I will be glad to post your address for all illegals to come to your house for help, money, jobs etc.

If this were to be put to a nationwide vote I think those against it would be floored at the votes cast that said build the damn thing as we have been promised for years. The wall issue has been a great topic to get elected on and then the politician sits on their hands doing nothing about it once in office.

Super Dave is right Trump has stepped up and is holding congress to what they have said they will do in the past and will see that it gets done as the voters have been promised in the past.

Congress hates a President that holds them to promises they have made about as much as congress hates presidents who makes promises that didn't come from them and they don't have complete control over.

  16. @11:14 Why would Pelosi negotiate? Mexico's supposed to pay for the wall remember? He has zero leverage. Zero. The Art of the Deal(ironic isn't it?) says you should have something to negotiate with. He has nothing. He had two years to get it done. He failed. Pelosi and the dems hold all the cards now. Mexico's interior minister outlines plans to secure their southern border against illegal immigrants

As part of the new government's migration policy, she said, anyone wanting to enter Mexico would have to provide information including reason for entry, biometric data, and an identity document.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I saw the following statement below on a social site and it does shine a little light on the issue. Would the same people who think allowing unsecured borders like it if the bank who watches their money didn't have lockable doors, alarms or guards to protect it? We fence in our backyards for peace of mind and to keep others out but could care less if our countries borders were as well secured to protect us and give us the same peace of mind. So if keeping the neighbors dog from crapping in your yard is important then how could not keeping undesirables from crapping in your country not be just as important?

"You want open borders....take your own doors off your own home and lets see how that goes!"

    ReplyDelete
  32. Thats easy 12:24 because congress is full of pussies in both parties who can't agree on from which side of the country the sun rises on. It isn't as simple as your simple mind thinks it should be or as cut and dry.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hey stupid dave, nobody wants open borders. No one is calling for open boarders. No one. So your shitty analogy is as worthless as you are. That's another lie manufactured by Trump and repeated by his minions. It keeps getting repeated by dummies like you who are too stupid and too lazy to understand the issue. Do better retard.

    ReplyDelete
  34. If you say Dems don't want border security so they can get voters - you're a fucking weirdo, step out of your basement.

Negotiation to Trumpers apparently means, give Trump what he wants, funds for his wall. That's not negotiation dipshits.

People equating open borders to taking the door off your home, find a fucking clue in life. Seriously.

Anyone who can mock Pelosi/Schumer for their stiff delivery is a hypocrite, Trump looked like a fish out of water reciting that garbage with that dead rat on his head and more make up than Joan Rivers. He really does doll up when he paints his face.

This whole damn thing is joke. Illegal entries are at a 20 year low and the vast majority of drugs come through points of entry. But you dumbshit Trumpers will take any catnip you can get.

  35. good thing Chuck And Nancy arent "leaders" of anything. You wanna fight opioids get outta Afghanistan and go after big pharma

    ReplyDelete
  36. ^^^^^^^1:15 what do you think Mexico is now for the most part retard? Talk about showing your stupidity! While parts of it are controlled just as much of it isn't. When people are able to illegally enter a country unstopped that isn't a controlled border it's an open border, a unsecured border and that's a threat to those living in the country illegally being entered.
If the democrats have their way no money at all would be spent on border control. The you have people such as Davids who want to get rid of ICE so those who illegally enter are never dealt with and jerks like you think think we should all support with free medical and food those who come here seeking nothing but the freebies they can steal from us who work for a living but most are unable to afford good health care for their own families. How about we protect ourselves first and if any scrapes are left over from that we can share it with others in the world.

    ReplyDelete
  37. The funding Trump is asking for to secure our southern border amounts to $1.25 for every $1,000.00 of federal spending. Obviously, the Democrats don't care about the cost. They simply just do not want to cooperate with the President, even though it means doing what is right for American workers, taxpayers and citizens.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @1:38-AKA_ Stupid dave, if the Dems want open boarders as you erroneously say, then why did they propose $1.6 billion for border security in the funding bill both the House and Senate signed off on, before Trump got called on the carpet by his overlords on Faux News? Jesus Christ, you are so fucking dumb.

  39. I realize that most people who read this blog, hate Breitbart. That's ok.

Look, read this article. It is a review of articles in Liberal outlets and a couple of studies that relate to Immigration that provides a look into the future.

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2018/09/23/atlantic-magazine-immigration-is-spiking-tribalism-in-america/

Keep something in mind as you read it.

There are over 500,000,000 guns in the Un-United States Of America.

Border security is not just necessary for the well being of this country, it is necessary for it's survival. If not, this shit, I am telling you, will come to fuckin blood.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Still say if it was a Democratic President wanting to build a wall that Pelosi and Schumer would be all over it. Makes my blood boil that they will fund everything else but will not protect our southern border. My parents live in Texas I was born and raised there and I believe this is one of the most important things facing this nation today. I was transferred to Kansas City and I see the issue here also. Just go spend some time in Olathe and for sure and you will know exactly what I am talking about. When you have several families all living in one apt or duplex it's because they don't have the proper paperwork to get a place of their own. Go around any of the Western Union and other money sending companies on Friday and Saturday and see all the money that is being sent out of the country to the family back in Mexico another reason they all live together it enables them to send even more money back. Then come tax time do they fill out 1099's or or any tax returns? Hell no they don't and meanwhile if they have fake ID they claim the maximum deductions to get the most money paid out to them and then without filing a return they never have to pay that money back. If your neighbors were pulling this same scam all you against the wall supporters and Trump haters would all be screaming for something to be done about it and reporting them for such.

  43. The pernicious “Sanctuary City” secessionist movement from the federal government and from the supremacy of federal immigration law that has spread throughout Democrat-controlled urban polities proves definitively that all the other talk about “protecting our borders, just not with a wall” is facially mendacious.

For the liberals and their Progressive, Democrat party, the issue is not The Wall but assuring that our southern border remains porous so that the national voting electorate can continue to be transmogrified from a rooted majority-conservative constituency to a blue New Mexico, a converted-blue California, an increasingly blue-ing Nevada, and a purpling Arizona. It is about changing the demographic of our country by importing a new voting bloc of people who, because of their understandable poverty and limited Anglophonic skills, amplified by their utter ignorance of the values and beliefs and self-evident truths that animated our nation’s founding, will need to fall on the Government for handouts for at least a generation — free healthcare, free education, free hospital emergency rooms for stuffy noses, food stamps, welfare. They will be as natural a constituency for Democrats in other states as they have proven to be since turning California from the reliably Republican state that it was as recently as twenty years ago.

    This will come to blood.
