Hottie Kylie Jenner established a billion-dollar empire this year so the odds are pretty good that she finished far ahead of any Kansas City player in 2018.

Nevertheless . . .

WE'RE ASKING OUR BLOG COMMUNITY TO SHARE KANSAS CITY FAVORITES WORTHY OF RECOGNITION IN 2018!!!

We've got a few surprises coming up and there's a worthwhile debate about the folks who came out ahead this year but for now we believe some initial consideration from our AWESOME TKC BLOG COMMUNITY is in order regarding local faves, newsmakers and politicos worthy of distinction.

And so, we offer just a few tunes as tribute to your picks for winners on this final Saturday night of 2018.

Take a look and listen . . .

    2. All things considered this was a good year for Kansas City and there was some real progress. We saw voter turnout increase and I think many locals are finally growing tired of the tax and spend strategy from the James administration. There's still more work to do but this year represents progress beyond mere politics.

    3. They voted for $ 800 million in go bonds. They are stealing from it Slie and the Shitty clowncil

  2. ^^ Not doubting what you wrote but I will say that we need to take whatever good energy we can find and channel it into getting this damn murder rate down.

    1. More protests than progress. It's good people are voting, but notice the politicians aren't too excited about that.

  3. Steven Miller, best new candidate.

  5. Rest assured it won’t be anybody from shitty hall, the over taxed citizens should get it for having to put up with the stupidity and worthless mayor and clowncil

  6. I'd like to nominate "Geezer Hater"!

Sure, he's a boring, obnoxious, wimpy little fag, but his monomania does show a level of low-intelligence inventiveness, managing to post comments about his homosexual obsession with older men into every post on TLC, no matter what the subject.

The worshipers at the Cult Of The Donald do provide a lot of laughs with their constant excuse making , but they come in second to "Geezer Boi", in my humble opinion.

  7. Sly = the man who broke KC.

  8. Hillary Clinton

Her cool and measured leadership as our first female President is admired the world over.
Her overwhelming following in the United States staggers pollsters.
The first week of December had her approval rating at 97% in the weekly Gallup Poll.
She has staunched the flow of "undocumented" people into the U.S. by declaring them "automatically documented". She has declared "open borders", dissolved ICE, and decreed that all people are automatically full citizens with all of the rights that this implies.

Her initiative to place Planned Parenthood in charge of the new mandatory "National Infant-Care Centers" was applauded by all enlightened people. They will work in conjunction with the "National Organ Donor Registry". With the supply of organs provided by living children, Congress has passed a national "Everyone gets a Liver Day".

  9. In many ways the people won this year but more work has to be done to educate them more about the inept government and holding it accountable.

Items the people need to be focused on.

The go bond money needs to be used for what the voters were told instead of Slie and the council stealing from it.

Good people are voting but the politicians are ignoring their vote and doing whatever they please.

Somehow the powers to be need to be focused on fixing the failed infrastructure, streets, sewers, sidewalks, snow removal, water lines and the list goes on.

  11. Big winner . . . Edgemoor

It's a pretty good gig when you and your consultants can collect money for doing nothing but submitting fuzzy plans and artist's renderings. That's especially true when the project in question (KCI) is going to run about $4 billion over budget . . . which is where your REAL payday comes in.

    Second place . . . the streetcar

Kudos for setting up a "vote" that only involves a handful of the people paying for the project, not to mention totally ignoring a vote (via loopholes) that was intended to prevent more dough being tossed into the black pit. Not bad for a crappy way of travel that doesn't work in the snow and serves mostly as a hobo warming station.

    Third Place . . . electric scooters

They're annoying and don't work in the snow . . . but hipsters and the SJW crowd like being seen on them. Next year the streets will be lined with ride-share "Big Wheel" tricycles . . . which better represent the maturity of the scooter riders

  13. The biggest winner in KC is the geezer hater. He is the sole purpose anyone reads this blog anymore. He should be on Tony’s payroll if it isn’t Tony anyway.

  14. Copro, geezer boy is a Sly troll. He wants to discourage anyone from reading TKC, as Tony allows criticism of Killa City.
