TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! VICTIMS OF KU MED CENTER SHOOTING LOCKED OUT OF HOSPITAL BEFORE DEADLY ATTACK WITH NO HELP FROM SECURITY!!!

A murder-suicide at KU Med Center this week sent shock waves throughout the Kansas City metro and reveals an urban care facility callously closed off from the surrounding community.

Now, Fox4 has already reported that KU Med Center doors to the hospital are locked at 8 p.m. each night, which protects the staff and patients inside.

This is accurate, however, doesn't offer the entire story . . .

THE VICTIM OF THE KU MED CENTER MURDER-SUICIDE WAS TRAPPED OUTSIDE THE HOSPITAL FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME BEGGING FOR HIS LIFE AND NOBODY CAME TO HELP HIM ACCORDING TO WITNESSES, FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!

The narrative from the MSM describes a chase but the later half of the pursuit reportedly wasn't as fast paced as the public was led to believe . . . For several moments the victims of the shooting pleaded for help and none arrived.

Moreover, other reports from the scene reveal that security along with hospital staff ran away from the ensuing sound of gunfire.

To be fair, KU Med Center staff stand by the emergency protocol used in the situation and it's likely nothing could have prevented this deadly domestic dispute tragedy.

However, what's important in the aftermath of this situation is that Kansas City and the community surrounding the hospital understand the strict security precautions taken by the KU Med don't seem to offer much help in the even of a real emergency.

In a massive outpouring of the sympathy at the funeral for the victim of the shooting, there was widespread frustration with the closed door policy and security inaction of the facility and so far those sentiments have been unreported.

Again, it's doubtful that anything will change following the horrific murder at the entrance of hospital doors and this documentation of the circumstances of the victim's death is shared merely to more accurately inform the public of the closed door policy and security tactics that won't offer much safety from those facing deadly threats.

  1. totally see where the hospital is coming from here. It reminds me of those old submarine movies. It's a cruel and horrible call to make but the danger the shooter could've posed to the rest of the hospital wasn't worth the risk of opening the door. Very tough situation.

    1. Within reason. If the guy is out there begging for help for 10 minutes, it doesn't make any sense to keep him there dying. Aren't hospitals were supposed to help people?

    2. shouldn't have stopped at the hospital, many hospitals have this same kind of regulation. It was a bad situation but somebody else getting killed by flying bullets who had nothing to do with the "domestic" situation would've been even worse.

  2. 1000 mourners at the funeral and not a word from the daily newspaper. I guess it's just police light coverage and nothing from real people who live in KC. Sad.

    1. Pray for the families, there are still people in mourning here who lost people who they loved very dearly. Yes, it might be important to talk about hospital policy but I think the focus should be on the children who have been left behind by this killing and how we can stop such senseless acts of violence in the future.

  3. CCw at the hospital would've helped but they opposed it. Of course their policy on that was wrong but it looks like KU cares more about their growing campus than anybody who shows up at their doors.

  4. Security is smart to run the other way. Why take a bullet for 8.75 an hour.

    NO THANKS!

  5. 1:22 your ignorance is illuminating. KU "security" is unarmed, however the KU police are armed and I'm willing to bet they didn't run. Unarmed security should have done their best, if that's moving away from the incident then that's best.

How does anyone discern who to help, regardless if it was 10 minutes or 1 minute. AND, if they had opened the door to let this person in who is asking for help and the armed person gets in the hospital and shoots patients, staff etc. then people would be bitching because the "security" officer let the victim in and innocent people are at risk...

So you choose which is best, then don't complain

  18. Drive to the Westwood police station 5 blocks south. I did to report a drunk driver and they quickly got him. Always drive right up in front of a police station and lay on the car horn.
