A Kansas mom was stunned to find what she says were metal shavings in her toddler's gummy vitamins. The 3-year-old was taken for X-rays and though technicians didn't find "large amounts of metal," they did identify metal in her intestines, mom Samantha Andersen of Overland told Fox 4 Kansas City.

Sunday evening, Johnson County firefighters responded to a fire at an apartment complex at the 6000 block of 51st street at FoxRidge. Officials say that one person has been reported as not breathing.

Two families lost everything in duplex fire

GLADSTONE, MO (KCTV) - A duplex is a total loss after a fire. Flames could be seen shooting out the roof of the building near 67th terrace and Askew, just before 7 p.m. Sunday. Part of the roof collapsed at one point. Luckily, no one was home at the time, but two families lost everything they had inside.
