Show-Me Outrage Against Missouri Senator-Elect Golden Boy Amid Death Of Obamacare

Two uncomfortable FACTS from both side of the aisle . . .

American Healthcare is ALREADY socialized and the only people who don't understand that are jerks who don't visit their grandma.

Secondly, when Missouri Senator-elect Josh Hawley promised he would protect people with pre-existing conditions he was actually working to (successfully) repeal Obamacare and critics called him out for lying.

As of this writing, Obamacare is mostly history and the Senator-elect has yet to provide any evidence about how he'll work to make sure insurance companies don't revert to their old draconian tactics thanks to his EPIC deregulation.

  1. Of course he's against Obamacare.

And in Missouri, if you're not rich, your healthcare is screwed.

    Sorry.

  3. ^^^^ wrong, everybody that has a job has health care. Obamacare care is failing because it’s too expensive for individuals and the government, it cost over three grand a month with the government aka the taxpayers paying for over half of it.

  4. ^^^^^What planet are you living on? Fewer companies and especially small businesses offer health care. What's your solution? Go to the emergency room and don't pay the bill?

  5. Attack on democracy bull crap. Obama care put small business out. I'm a victim of Obama care.obamacare caused my insurance to double in cost with less coverage. Insurance companies were the first to dump Obama care because of the high cost. Obama care was making people like me to pay for some idiots abortion and that's not right. Healthcare is not socialized that's crap. Most uninsured people went to Truman for healthcare. Obama care messed things up so bad that we may never get back to normal. Kansas was right Obama care is unconstitutional. You people who can't see this are f***ed up.

  6. ^^^More like attack on the poor, period, which 'Obamacare' didn't help much (most people can't pay the costs). But the reason the costs are so high in the first place is because the previous 'system'(if you can call this convoluted piece of shit a 'system') was fucked up long before 'Obamacare' came along, otherwise they wouldn't have been looking for a solution in the first damned place.

  7. Oh my, @ 8:39 - how coincidental that your ACA problems are exactly the same (word for word) as an article recently posted on Breitbart's website.

And tell us, are you one of the fortunate few who keep posting here about how your paycheck has had a sizeable increase as a result of the GOP's income tax cuts for individuals that WON'T GO INTO EFFECT UNTIL JANUARY 1, 2019?

He shows a sweet box in his jeans.

  9. He's not lying because you don't have to have Obamacare to save preexisting conditions.

  10. Obamacare sucks. If you don't qualify for it or if you don't get insurance from your job then your premiums are outrageous because
the insurance companies gouge those people to make up for the freeloaders on Obamacare.

  11. ^^^Please enlighten us, starting with what you mean by saving preexisting conditions.

  12. 8:41: So is it Obamacare that sucks or the insurance companies? And what would you propose to solve the problem?

  13. I was told Pubs hate activist judges, was I wrong? Also, this effects everybody. If you don't have preexisting conditions you know someone who does.

  14. 8:39 is right except my insurance tripled under Obamacare and that's with a $10,000 deductible and no office visits so it's basically worthless.

  15. Trump promised better and cheaper healthcare, where is it? Oh yeah, the rubes got conned by a conman yet they still believe him. You still believe the wall will be built. You ate in a cult. You need help. You can't see you are a mark. You are being and continue to be conned. You are worse than Scientologists.

  16. I had Obamacare and it was, for two people, $1242 per month with a $6000 individual and $12000 family deductible for a silver plan. The silver plan was the only level with a subsidy. When I had to get a single person policy the cost was $826 per month with $6000 deductible. Before that the most we paid for insurance for two people was $583 per month with $3000 individual and $6000 family deductibles.

Doing a little calculation the cost of insurance plus the deductibles adds up to over $26000 per year for the insurance for a family of two.

For us the cost of Obamacare was anything but affordable.

  17. Read the Constitution, don't just trust what the politicians and judges tell you it says. It only allows the government to do only that which it spells out in the document and nothing else.

Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that the government has it has the power to involve itself in your healthcare nor provide for it.

Your "right to healthcare" extends only as far as your wallet allows, not unlike any other good or service.

For me Obamacare was anything but affordable. When you are on a fixed income Obamacare hurt the finances.
