Postscript from the holiday offers a stark look at real life on local streets and the so-called season of good will. Checkit:
Man steals woman's car with Christmas gifts inside at gunpoint
KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -- Imagine losing your car and sense of security only days before Christmas... That's what happened to one local mother, but she lost more than just her car. The woman said police came quickly after she called 911.
Could there be a little more to this story?
ReplyDeleteNo description of the suspect, which would be politically correct.

Troost and armour? Gee I wonder who
ReplyDeleteThis "news" reads like some kind of ten-cent Hallmark Channel feel good garbage holiday movie... Down and out bum decides to rob single mother, but after hearing her words as she was pleading for her life right as he was about to pull the trigger and asked for a reason why he shouldn't, our protagonist has a sudden change of heart inspiring everyone to put down their arms for just a small time of the year. For it is the holidays in Kansas City after all. Now rather then "popping" someone (which I by the way thought meant something totally different!) you just put a gun to their head before running off with all their shit. What's next, Nic Cage and Drew Barrymore cast as the couple and after being caught and arrested they fall in love during the trial, get married and move to Raytown? It's sad not only the level of violence year-round we endure in this city, but to make matters worse we have incompetent and impotent news coverage. No suspect description given? There wasn't even a date this happened that I could find. It seems like someone at KCTV smoked some fine Colorado kush and made the news a "story". Hey assholes, how about actually reporting the news? Pathetic.
ReplyDeleteNic Cage can’t play the role. Wrong color.

ReplyDelete(((Zoe Brown))) This is how the Jewish Media reports black-on-white crime.
ReplyDeleteThe man who robbed me was about 20 years old, medium-dark complected black man, about 5'8" or so, maybe 160 lbs. Short hair maybe working a bit of a wave, no notable facial hair. No visible tattoos. He was wearing a dark hoodie. Baritone-range voice. He seemed pretty normal, truly.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tony for sharing the story despite the news media's DELIBERATE misrepresentation of when this happened. I was robbed at 10:27PM Thursday 12-27, two days AFTER Christmas. The car was recovered by police in Lee's Summit yesterday morning. I don't know what shape any of our things are in or anything else because I can't get the car back until Monday.
I love KC with my whole heart, but *really*??? None of that needed to happen.
