NO CONFIDENCE?!?!? FAMILIES HIRE PRIVATE LAWYERS FOR TRIAL OF WYCO DOUBLE DEPUTY KILLER SUSPECT!!!

Legal moves in The Dotte offer a glimpse of underlying frustration with one of that communities top legal eagles.

Remember that this prosecutor took a great deal of heat for his handling of the sentencing of slain KCK police Capt. Melton's killer.

Here's the latest . . .

KSHB: Private attorneys hired to help prosecute WyCo deputies' alleged killer

Deets:

Tom Bath and Tricia Bath have been retained to assist the Wyandotte County District Attorney's office in the prosecution of Antoine Fielder.

Wyandotte County District Attorney Mark Dupree's office sent the following statement . . .

“Our office met with the Baths prior to them joining and we have absolutely no objections to them doing so.”

Fielder is charged with two counts of capital murder and one count of aggravated robbery. He's accused of killing Deputy Patrick Rohrer, 35, and Deputy Theresa King, 44, while they were transporting inmates, including Fielder, to the Wyandotte County Courthouse in June 2018.

If guilty. The guy needs to be transferred to another state with the death penalty for one of his many crimes.

Damn shame this killing. I wonder if the new lawyers will really tell us what happened at the scene. Because the charging documents were not very forthcoming.

That WYCO prosecutor needs to go.

^^^ petersucker clone, worthless as they come

The death penalty needs to be issued here without doubt it's a capitol offense.

The WYCO prosecutor has a race issue and needs to be investigated since they can't be fired! The son of a bitch!

^^^^ +1 on that. The guy killed those two in cold blood and if he's convicted there is no reason that we should pay for him to live nice for the next 50 years.

Definitely no confidence in the prosecutor. He needs to be replaced with a more competent official.

If this case was in Jackson County, Jean Petersucker Baker would let him plead down to involuntary manslaughter. DuPree is worthless, but nowhere near as worthless as Jean Petersucker Baker.

I called this a couple months ago, WyCo prosecutor gave that other brutha a BLM discount and would probably do the same for this scumbag.

It's pathetic the prosecutor in such a large county needs outside help.

So if you have money to hire competent outside attorneys, you get justice. Otherwise you get the incompetent district attorney with an agenda to go easy on colored murderers.

Interesting concept to ensure no plea bargain. Wonder if lawyers could step up in Jackson Ciunty pro bono and work to get bad guys longer sentences.

Help him tighten the rope he found in his cell.

First year law students would be an improvement over Jean Petersucker Baker

^^^ I think a ten year old could do better than petersucker and her protege in Wyco, Jesus they’re bad.

Is a slaying in furtherance of an escape attempt the kind of premeditation necessary to support the elements of a capital murder case?

[An actual question if a knowledgeable commenter knows, not an invitation to a TKC tough guy for a profanity laden rebuke or insult.]

Great question from Radish.

I think it's a good enough question that there needs to a statement from the prosecutor on why he hasn't gone this round.

Really think they ought to look at his defense as well. He is going to blame the guards for defending themselves and that strategy should not be allowed or at least shut down right away.
