KANSAS CITY FEARS EXTENDED GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN AMID CHRISTMAS EVE STOCK MARKET CRASH!!! WILL PREZ TRUMP WIN BORDER WALL FIGHT OR HAS MAGA SIEGE ENDED?!?
There are nearly 50,000 Federal workers in the Kansas City metro and the government shut down during economic distress is first and foremost on their minds this Christmas.
The Federal government is the largest single employer in Kansas City and the current crisis pits security against politics in every way imaginable.
To wit . . .
THE GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN IMPACTS EVERY FACET OF THE KANSAS CITY ECONOMY AS THE NATION'S FINANCIAL SITUATION WORSENS!!!
People typically overextend themselves and their credit cards during the holidays and this time around bad consumer debt might supersede political talking points about the rule of law and border security. However, more strident supporters of President Trump see this effort as a siege of the government status quo and what might be the very last chance to change the course of history before the Democratic majority in Congress assumes power.
Sadly, students of antiquity know The Crusades didn't work out well and in the end they actually had to sell some European children into slavery after high minded ideals didn't hold up to real world challenges.
And so we ask our blog community about their deepest concerns regarding the question of financial stability whilst the rest of the local media is focused on the tracking Santa's sleigh during the shut down . . .
WILL PREZ TRUMP THE BORDER WALL FIGHT AMID THE SHUT DOWN & DOES KANSAS CITY SUPPORT HIS CRUSADE?!?!?
While the urban core and JoCo have voted against MAGA for the most part, the rest of the metro and the surrounding boondocks have stood by the President throughout his tenure. What's important to remember is that all of these voters are in the same boat amid the economic kerfuffle despite their political perspectives. In the end, markets have little respect for politics.
