Feds already turned down the fair weather toy train on one request. Evidently the jokers on Oak do not know the meaning of "no."

Oh yah these are going to make KCMO the worlds number one tourist destination!

The fact we are begging, demanding, or expecting the Feds to give us taxpayer money is ominous.

^^Hey dummy @ 8:35AM, the city is not begging. If you knew anything, you would know that the Federal Government sets aside funds for public infrastructure that every American city can apply for. Please don't ever post again as you have absolutely no idea what the fuck you are talking about!!

A good portion of TKC posters would rather build a fucking worthless wall than spend a dime in our own city.

Saw a KC spokesman reacting with terror at the thought of the state legislature elimination the Earnings Tax in KC and STL. He expressed alarm, saying essential city services depended on that tax.

How about not throwing money at the Jazz district, Power and Light, Toy Train, MLK renaming of Paseo, whatever that Spaces art thing was, updating the water delivery system and repairing rather than building farce of a new air terminal?

Unfortunately, with voters stupid enough to vote that Etax in again two years ago, I suspect folks will just continue to let these thieves screw them. Oh, and we need another tax to fund bowtie's pre K program, of which there are already a number.

Kcpedia is correct. Vote no on E tax.

Tops on my Xmas list is to get rid of Troy Schulte--he's making a mess of this city, in ways the newspaper of record will never cover. Th council members answer to the developers who will contribute to their campaigns. Time for change.

^^Well since you hold no position of influence, seem to be of any consequence or substance, who gives a fuck about your Christmas list?

As a public official tops on my Xmas list is ALSO to get rid of Troy Schulte--he's running the city budget like a pyramid scheme, in ways the newspaper of record will never cover. Th council members DO nswer to the developers who will contribute to their campaigns. Time for change.
