I spent Sunday with nature in my deer stand and finally arrowed a nice buck.
After skinning and hanging it in a friend’s walk-in cooler I headed home.
On the way home stopped at Cabelas and it was packed with outdoor enthusiasts getting ready for bird and rifle season.
Ran into two ladies I had introduced to archery, shooting and hunting. During the course of chatting with them they asked about my long barreled rifle.
The tall, long-legged, black haired one has an exceptional record book 2 point rack.
All in all a wonderful day hunting and visiting with friends.
The good part is no TV and no games to mess with.
